Famine managed to attack the turtle, causing it to flinch, however as the water burst with force Sebastian almost immediately know it wasn't the Tentacruel though Gram did not. Due to this the Alolan Meowth would leap directly at the Hydro Pump which would hit him dead on and send him reeling.

Gram!

The blond's warning however came far too late and he was left to wince as his cat was sent flying toward the platform the turtle and Famine were battling upon. As such however Sebastian knew he had to be swift in his next order for the Galarian Meowth in the meantime.

Famine, the turtle's hurt, use the time to Hone your Claws

Sneering the Meowth variant would begin grating his claws against the platform they stood upon, his eyes never leaving the turtle before him with confidence that Sebastian was watching his blindside. Meanwhile Gram would begin to recover from the Hydro Pump, shakily standing with it's eyes initially on the water bobbing in the distance, it felt wounded both physically as well as in pride.

Gram, use Screech on the water!

It was quick thinking and a tactical choice, hopefully it paid off. Regardless Gram the Meowth would dash over to the platform's edge before beginning to scream at the water via SCREECH. Sebastian had hoped that the move would for sure hit the Tentacruel due to the nature of sound and water, but who knew what the hidden Pokemon was capable of within the confines of it's home.

A challenge based on hitting critical moves?

Quite the challenge when one had to absolutely hit a confirmed crit.

This of course sent Sebastian to the Rotomi once more, contacting Rocket HQ via his cellphone about his required needs. In this Sebastian would be told he was going to be sent a Pokemon whom could definitely land a critical blow, though he hadn't been told which. However, upon pulling the Pokemon from the Rotomi and summoning it forth Sebastian would witness the summoning of a....Pinsir?

Smirking at the rather intimidating Pokemon Sebastian would relay a message to the Pinsir that he was sure it was already given at Rocket HQ prior to it being sent to him.

It should've known it's job, but in case it didn't....

Go ahead, critically damage that bladed water-bug....

With Pinsir already being blessed with the Mold Breaker ability it would loudly hiss by vacating it's anthropoid body of excess air, surely sending chills up any unprepared spines. Charging forward then it would tilt it's body to snatch up it's prey, the Kabutops, with it's large powerful pincers. From there Pinsir would jump into the air, turning it's body once more before slamming back into the ground via Storm Throw, smashing Kabutops into the floor before it could recover from the last Storm Throw it had suffered. Hissing once more in a mighty gesture the Pinsir would then be returned to it's Poke Ball upon Sebastian's whim.

Luck of the draw, something tells me we aren't going to be so blessed here soon...Heh, hehhh.

Turning then to the muscular man with long hair Sebastian would finally respond to his prior statement.

Well if this is their idea of a date.....I'm not sure we could ruin it so easily

The Gym Leader would summon a turtle-type of Pokemon on land, while also summoning a Tentacruel which would slowly, but surely sneak beneath the water's surface in eerie fashion. The Gym Leader also went on to wish Sebastian luck which left a sour taste in the Rocketeer's mouth, he might've somewhat appreciated the gesture, but it also insulted him. He felt disrespected, he felt as if he didn't need luck. Luck might've been a real thing, but in combat things like training and hard work, more tangent things. Sebastian's thoughts however would soon enough divert to the challenge before him, two Water-Type Pokemon with a turtle capable of also combat on land while the other was to take residence in the water stealthily meaning Sebastian and his cats had to remain vigilant at all times.

Are you ready?

Racing forward Famine would take to bounce from land mass to land mass in attempt to get closer and closer to the turtle Pokemon in an attempt to preform the Fake Out move hoping it could rake it's claws along it's target. Meanwhile, and surprisingly, Gram would do the same in an attempt to execute the Fake Out attack too though he took a much, much slower approach to the task. This was because Gram's target was not the turtle Pokemon, but rather he was merely feigning this while waiting for the Tentacruel to resurface whom it would assault then if able. However if the squid remained beneath the water he too would in fact attack the turtle too.

Pestilence had been sent out on his own, a request from Sebastian to Pick Up some mushrooms that a job description had explained. They were "unique" mushrooms, whatever that meant the Meowth at least knew not to go around gathering plain ol' mushrooms or even ones he himself thought were special, no, he was to collect these unique shrooms. Teamed up with a group of various other Pokemon, Pestilence the Meowth soon enough would discover the mushrooms they were exactly looking for, as such he'd begin to Pick Up these shrooms as well, placing them into the satchel-bag slung around his torso. He could only carry so much due to his own size as well as his bag's, but some was better than none.

While his "teammates" consisted of small flying bugs there were other, and much larger, allies including a living tree that was very much so haunting to look at. Nonetheless when his bag was full Pestilence would also take to carrying a large mushroom within his arms before setting out to complete the task by delivering the harvest/bounty.

The next challenge seemed to, or at least appeared to be, the most difficult challenge thus.

They were to steal from Alakazam, a rather powerful Psychic-Type Pokemon and due to it's unique ability that task proved to be even more daunting than usual. Nonetheless Sebastian would walk on over to the Rotomi nearby, booting it up while syncing up Deth the Glameow's Poke Ball to the system. From there he'd also slip in a TM/TR disc, opting to teach his feline ally the move "Thief" despite the difficult task that stood before them. Moving away from the Pokemon system then Sebastian would call forth Deth.

Luckily for the quad-group one of them had been able to apply a sort of acidic coating to the Alakazam, loosening it's hold on it's held spoons. This in turn allowed for the next three, Sebastian/Deth included, to nab a spoon respectively. Glameow being swift in springing forward before snatching a spoon between her small jaws, returning to Sebastian's side while dropping the spoon against her owner's shoe in a cute gesture. She had used her new move Thief with deft skill, as if she had always been such a...thief?

Phew.....That was lucky...

Hehh, yeah fast...Too fast I forget to introduce myself sometimes, hehh.

By time Sebastian had explained himself the partners would begin to seperate to cover more ground, but not before the Rocketeer made a note of the reality of the situation.

Well, not a lot of high-level Pokemon just means that the one we're dealing with could likely be an Alpha of sorts, their level is probably higher than usual due to this...Hehh, heh.

Scratching the back of his head Sebastian would keep his spot closest to the Magikarp pond, his steely hazel gaze scanning everything thing in the vicinity as he preform a slow three hundred and sixty degree rotation while standing in place.

Once more the Team Rocket crew had succeeded.

Are we going to make it the whole way this time....Heh, I feel so ashamed....

The blond Rocketeer would think to himself, Sebastian then following the gang to the next floor.

There they'd be pressed by a new challenge, yet with a similar answer to the opposition. Sebastian discovered this at the sight of all of his teammates calling upon Ghost-Types once more. As such Sebastian would return Dooku to their Poke Ball, then calling on Golett the Ground and Ghost-Type as an ally. To this end when the Bug-Type Pinsir attacked with it's Guillotine move it'd prove ineffective against the ghoulish Pokemon who stood unmoving, undaunted.

Success had been found for this challenge as well which filled Sebastian's mind with relief, yet again.

It was finally time....

It was time for Sebastian to run his first Gym Challenge, randomly opting to go to Sootopolis City the home of the Hoenn Regions' current Water-Type Gym.

His Pokemon of choice for the challenge? Two of his Meowth variants, being Famine the Galarian Meowth a Steel-Type and Gram the Alolan Meowth whom was a Dark-Type Pokemon. The Rocketeer suspected that a two versus two battle was a benefit to him due to the nature of his cat's bond, sure all of his felines had spent years and years together at this point, but some had taken to bonding better in pairs.

This instance was that Famine and Gram were "Brothers", acting as if regions hadn't kept them separated prior to their meeting through Sebastian himself.

I'm putting a lot of faith into you two boys....Water-Type battles, let alone Gym Challenges, are tricky, it's going to afford your opponent's not only home turf advantage, but stealth as well. Beyond this they'll likely have a lot of long ranged special attacks.

Lucky for us neither of you are weak to Water-Types and as cats you've come to specialize in hunting fish, yeah? Hehh, hehh....

Anyways let's wander on in shall we?.....

From there the trio would wander on into the Gym, running into a seemingly employee of the Gym Sebastian would be quizzed, noting that he wanted a two versus two battle and that he didn't mind if the whole thing was broadcasted.

He had no reason to hide in a private match, plus the silence might've been more awkward if anything.

From there he was lead to a waiting room until the event was better prepared, waiting until he was then taken to room behind a black curtain Sebastian was tasked with waiting for the announcement of his entry to the battlefield. He and his Meowth partners were visibly full of tense energy and excitement, they were raring to go!

They merely awaited for ALEXANDER STONE to call them forth.
