   (He knew how much of a stickler @mattis was when it came to keeping him in wheelchair hell, but after constant reassurance and a few phone calls from his PT later, it was time to face the music.) He had to get used to walking again. The problem here was that he tended to lean all of his weight on his left foot so much due to instinct, and that made him look like he was hobbling… whoops. That had to be fixed! So today he was out for a… well, much as he wanted to run, he was advised to take shit slowly. Which meant that he would be walking… a lot. Which he didn’t mind, but he did look like a penguin… And so here we are, finding one Fortree Gym Leader walking around the city, trying to get used to being on his two feet again for more than a couple of hours at a time. someone learns to walk again without the dapper cane @taro |
