there wasn't much reason for him to be in this place, besides getting lost in the way to fortree.

kyle had the dogs to help him navigate, but he wasn't sure if they'll be too excited to be too deep in the wilderness to actually be of help. they had grown accustomed to the cities that kyle found that anything that does not resemble to a city makes them act too restless.

he glances at his watch. he still has time to wander around and be lost.

late, late. Why he was in a rush, only he could possible answer that, but he needed to deliver something of somewhat importance to the branch leader in the near by town. Thick grass, prevented him from really moving anywhere fast, but he pushed through as much as he could.

With a bag en tough, it found itself loosely bobbing around on noir's back, giving him a somewhat unstable footing as he persevered through the grasslands. Unfortunately for him, he had tripped over a knot that could of grown naturally or been planted there by a less flavoursome individual but he would never know. His fall was softened by the unexpected body of a man whom seemed to be wandering around the place. "I-I-i'm deeply sorry for that sir, are y-you okay?" Noir stated this as he pushed himself off of the man, only to be surrounded by the low growling of a few pokemon, that he could only assume were wild.

his mind wandered around as he traversed through the route. idle time was rare nowadays, but the few moments he has without doing anything was surprisingly enjoyable.

it was ruined by one big hit from behind that caused him to lose balance and fall over.

"take a guess," he'd answer before he could turn to see the assailant.

he'd sit up straight instead of standing up from his position and started dusting the loose blades of grass that clung to his clothes. sounds from wild pokemon would prompt him to stop doing what he was doing and eventually stand up.

"can you do something about this?" he asks. kyle can deal with it, but he'd rather not.

finally turning and seeing the person that stumbled on him, literally, kyle's eyes would try to judge the person. he did not seem to be suspicious though. he did apologize for what he did after all.

Rising and dusting himself off, noir helped dust off some of the loose bits of grass on the mans attire. once again he reiterated his apology just so that the man truly believed him. The sound of the growls grew closer and closer, but before he opened his mouth his the man whomst he shared company with asked if he could deal with the situation.

A perplexed looked mixed with a hint of surprise was written all over noir's face at the mans question. I mean sure he wouldn't mind if he could, but his pokemon were not exactly the strongest and the intensity coming from those growls made noir not want to even find out. "Sure." Grabbing the man by the hand Noir dragged him away from the area to a more open environment where the grass did not reach past their hips.

"There." Panting and attempted to regain his breath he spoke again. "Dealt with it." Panting some more he wondered whether this man would bite his head off for dragging him around without consent.

hand holding was lewd and kyle did not give his consent for it, but there wasn't much to be done at that point. he was taken by surprise and couldn't turn down the aggressive approach. he doesn't even know his name yet.

running wasn't what he had in mind, but it worked. kyle was left panting. he wasn't ready for a sudden sprint but it had to be done. the wild pokemon weren't going to be friendly if they asked, he supposed. not like he was the best at making friends, especially with wild pokemon, in the first place.

"can't you just-" he paused as he heaved, "-use your pokemon or something? you have them, right?"

if the pokemon were the ones to do something in that situation, it meant that kyle wouldn't be the one suffering from doing actual physical activities. he wasn't unfit in any definition, but it was tiring and being tired was bad.

Use his pokemon? well ideally noir should of used his pokemon, but that would of just elongated the entire ordeal and that could of been detrimental to his assignment. He was already late for his mission and it would be even worse if he showed up. "I could of used pokemon, but you see fighting them could of caused them to call for help. Dog pokemon have a pack mentality." He was not necessarily sure whether they were dog pokemon but mainly dogs are the pokemon that growled.

Finishing on what he said, he noticed a bush moving and out came two aggitated looking pokemon. "D-don't move." Noir's eyes watched as the pokemon went from one bush to another as the continued to look for something which one could assume to be them. Thankfully though no issues were continued and further escalated. "Sorry, to get off on the wrong foot. I'm Noir."

"those weren't... dog pokemon."

the wild pokemon were still bound by rules that state that numbers equal to strength. loners often have to resort to trickery and other sneaky tactics while pokemon who has their family around were more likely to find themselves confident in challenging trainers. it wouldn't be wrong to say they had backup. then again, it depended on their species.

"i see your point though. call me kyle."

he offers a hand for a hand shake, which was customary for introductions, or so kyle would have believed so. whether he accepts it or not, kyle would move on, eyes looking in the area to get his bearings in respect to his previous location. there were wild pokemon, but they did not seem keen on approaching them this time.

"say, you have any idea of where we are right now?"

hopefully, the two of them weren't lost.

With the Noir introduction not being in vain the man introduced himself to being Kyle. Shaking the hand of the man whom had just presented himself, it was a fairly decent conversation. Thankfully the man could see his reasoning behind not trying to fight any of the pokemon, but in doing so noir sort of had gotten the two lads lost.

Sweat dropping at kyles question noir kinda thought he would of had the idea of where they were. "To be honest. I thought you would of had an idea of where we were." Looking around the place noir could only see grass, grass, more grass mixed in with a bit shrubs here and there. "So.. any idea on what to do?"
