The stars tonight were pretty beautiful as Kazimir made his way through the tall grass. He didn't think the Safari Park was open during these late hours but lately it seemed like the dark had attracted a few extra special pokemon lately that would only come out at night. So naturally the park decided to extend their hours to allow people to see and try to capture a few. It wasn't a very long extension, perhaps and hour or two. Just enough for the sun to go down and the stars to lightly twinkle in the sky.

Thank god for daylight savings time though.

Once he was out of the grass he was face to face with a small rockside that looked climbable and offered a view if he could reach high enough. Might as well do that, it would be good exercise. As he climbed a shooting star caught his attention as it streaked into the corner of his eye. As it watched it pass over the skyline he made a silent wish to it.

to meet some awesome pokemon today.

As he reached the top of the rocky hill he was greeted with the sight of a beautiful pond shimmering with twinkles from the stars reflection from above. On the water's surface he could see something a little odd. One of the stars was moving, a pretty big one too. It wasn't until it gently splash down onto the pond that Kazimir realized it wasn't a star, well it was but, it was a Staryu! Its shimmering...pelt? Skin? Scales? Whatever, was glowing in the faint light above that just dazzled the blonde's eyes. In a quick motion a ball was tossed out into the water to try and get that shiny super star.

He admired the safari ball that held his new ninja star of a friend inside. He didn't think his luck would turn out so great in just a single day, he was almost certain nothing but bad luck would come his way. And most certainly did he not think something was going to come floating down from the sky and look over his shoulder. When he took notice his eyes went wide and he jumped. "oh fuck an ali-" WIth a splash he fell into the pond and sunk to the bottom.

"Hey that's my shirt!" He didn't know why anyone much less a Pokemon would want his drenched shirt but here he was chasing down a Clefairy for stealing his. Maybe it was the exhaustion from swimming out of a pond that was getting to him but he was feeling pretty tired, so much that his pace was starting to suffer as the POkemon got farther and farther away. Kazimir was athletic but he also only had so much gas in his tank to spend on chasing after things. Lucky for him he did have enough to throw a curve ball at the thing in an attempt to catch it if only for a moment so he could get his shirt back. He's seen horror movies, he knows the person who thinks swimming at night is a good idea until a serial killer comes into the scene.
