I MIGHT NEED SOME MORE HEALING, BUT IT'S WORTH IT FOR THE FEELING

SOREN GUILD, does not present himself as anything else other than a compassionate man. As a Team Rocket grunt, he tends to keep to himself, bowing his head down to his superiors and accepting each task as it’s given to him. Other than his odd disconnection with modern times, there isn’t much information of his family history.

◈ Nothing. Absolutely nothing can be found, typing his “full name” into whatever search engine. Soren seems to have been newly born in this world, despite his already twenty-nine years of living in it.

◈ Soren is dangerous and should not be trusted from by demeanour alone. Even after aligning himself with Rocket so early, he does not waver from how the organisation behaves, no matter how “gentle” and “sorry” he is for his actions. It appears that he separates his business and personal life, however, is capable of doing so at will.

◈ The previous is important knowledge considering Soren makes money off being a herbalist. He wanders and peddles homemade self-care / stress – relieving items, primarily in markets of big cities.

ROCKET KNOWLEDGE

POINTS OF INTEREST FOR TEAM ROCKET FACTION

◈ Although not as impressive as his peers back at home, Soren still has commendable archer abilities and works well with a bow and arrow. He is also tough physically and can hold his weight if need be, often applying to side gigs that involve heavy lifting.

◈ Soren holds extraordinary respect from anyone in the association higher than him, as seen with elijah gardner . It is almost as if it’s rooted in him to follow orders. He is a strong believer in maintaining hierarchies such as the Rocket’s, however, it is difficult to say if that’s his own conviction and not something he was taught.

◈ Soren lives within the headquarters and is adept at treating the injuries / sicknesses of other residents. He does not ask for compensation for his services, so his dormitory room is typically utilised as an honorary clinic for advice.

◈ He’s bad at technological-based jobs. He types on keyboards awkwardly and has a company-given cellular device just so he can have a form of connection. And he’s likely tripped over the automatic doors within the headquarters more times than he’d like to confess…

◈ Rarely uses his PC and never used Poké Balls until joining the organisation. Most of the time, his Rowlet is somewhere flying off on his own, with Soren having a hard time enforcing the rule on them. The grass-type was the only Pokémon he had initially entered the field with.

PERSONAL SECRETS

”The FLOROS name has been sacred since the beginning of time. Our ancestors have cultivated such worthy, heavenly land that we now keep alive as our gratitude. Praise the forest deity for giving them its blessing!”



◈ Soren’s true full name is Soren Floros. He comes from a tribe deep in the mountains of Johto [more info.] This tribe follows greatly in the story of the forest deity (celebi), leaving the egg of a Rowlet as a sign of their approval of their land many years ago. They work hard to maintain their greenery even in the current age in the hopes that divinity will show its face again to sanctify future generations. However, their name and even location are completely off the grid to most people…

◈ This information isn’t known to even Soren, so please keep this in mind— but sadly, everything about the legend between Celebi and Soren’s ancestors is a lie. A crazed progenitor, drunk with power and control, simply made it up as a way to begin a religion. A chance to crown themselves as the leader of their caged society. Even now, despite swearing off the outside world, the “elders” of the clan abuse their ranking and completely disregard the very rules they set into place.

◈ … young children deemed worthy of the Floros clan are unknowingly trained to keep the higher-ups safe, the home’s Decidueye and their owners becoming skilled marksmen who are groomed for whatever undertaking they introduce once they grow older. It is a manufacturer of private soldiers disguised as a religion. A religion that was already soiled by lies and deceit.

◈ Soren would be and is still considered a renegade from their home. He was one of the rare bad apples that thus was pushed aside from his original course of action. Acquiescent as Soren was for many years with his position, it only took a day outside of it where he chose to turn back on his village for good.

◈ Soren is a hedonist and it's why it was so easy for him to abandon his previous life. While he's still learning this fact about himself, it will take a while for him to completely unravel it under the wraps of repressed feelings that have been smothering him for so long.
