The oldest child of two. Siguard's family is an odd mix. His mother hails from an indigenous tribe found mostly in the Crown Tundra of Galar, and his father was a member of the Hoennian Army, highly decorated for his exemplary performance in the field, before turning to law enforcement as per request of his wife.

They settled in Dewford Town, buying a sizeable plot of land from which they could live in relative peace. And so they would.

While Sigurd's father never wanted him to join Law Enforcement, much less the Army. His Mother was very insistent on the matter, claiming that it was "important for all boys to know how to fight." His father did not relent, wanting rather for his son to have a normal childhood with friends. And though his mother was known far and wide in Dewford for her eccentric customs, his childhood was relatively normal for an island Boonie.

Once the news of Team Rocket's movement in Kanto was made known to Sigurd's father through some old connections, there was only one thing to do. He had to go help.

Sigurd's father never came back. After the loss of her husband, Sigurd's mother grew much more insistent. Though Sigurd would love to claim that he fought his mother's insistence. Those would be lies. He bought the words his mother fed him, realizing that without his father there would be none to protect the family. Soon enough his mother had forced her ideals upon him. Soon enough he had signed up on that fateful dotted line.
