He remembers some old tradition that used to exist in his region, a test of courage of sort, and goes to do them. That was the case right now. Balder, on the end of the month, decided to head out to Lilycove and have some fun. Spend a good time, away from everything and have a change of air. Lilycove was considered as a vacation spot, making this an ideal location for it.[break][break] Problem is, he might have gone too far. While the man is quite sturdy and able to hold alcohol quite well, he still went over his limit. And now, on the beach, sat a drunk alolan man, gazing at the rocking waves on which the moon reflected. The sea breeze, carrying its salty smell, reminded him of home ever so slightly. Maybe that smell was actually the trigger of what followed...[break][break] After a couple of minutes pondering, the gym trainer jumped up. An idea had crossed his mind, one he hadn't had since his younger days. An old tradition, meant as to test the capacities of the young and see their mettle. If memory served correctly, it was called the Shinkai-no-Mai, the Deep Sea Dance.[break][break] Balder proceeded to remove his shirt, shoes and socks, albeit with some difficulties. Getting annoyed from removing all those clothes, he decided to keep the pants on and proceed to jump in the ocean, warmed by the hot day and the rather warm night they had. He swam a few minutes, simply to get his whole body wet, before going to stand at the deepest part of the beach where he could still stand and have his torso out of the water... And began to dance. Not the kind of classic wonderful dance you'd see in a bar, but rather a weird dance, as if to imitate the movement of tentacles.
