Music reverberated through the slick, swaying bodies and sticky tables. If it weren't for his friends, Steven probably would've still been at home, sipping on some jack or studying for the upcoming midterms.
It wasn't like he didn't enjoy going out - he did, with the right people. But, as far as he could tell, it was staunch Thursday night at howling at the moon, and beyond the occasional university student, most of the patrons were nearing balding age.
Choked by his own cape, hair slicked back with gel, Steven was your typical vampire. Old school, of course. In his hand was a red concoction, which splashed and jumped with every body thrusted against him.
One, in particular, was getting a little too close for comfort.
"Yo, back up!"
