returning back to a nearby town after dealing with another 'rocket situation', the trek home wasn't too bad. in fact, circe'd dare call it 'enjoyable'. There were very, very, people she genuinely enjoyed the company of. And Samuel was one of those 'lucky' few. Perhaps it was because he was a sight for sore eyes, or maybe she actually valued his intelligence. Maybe she just saw purpose in keeping him around - either way, she didn't mind it. Huddling up next to the blonde to almost clinging onto him due to her lack of proper attire for the wintry day, a sight up ahead made her eyes squint. There, a delibird tugged along a sack, its tail, that looked incredibly full, likely filled with tons of gifts. To some, it was a heartwarming sight. To Circe? Bah.

Disgustingly enough, two rangers flocked by the bird's side, likely helping it, as they paused to pick up whatever gifts that fell out, or scared away whatever wild pokemon grew near. Basically, they were being their usual, goody two-shoes selves. Typically, she would've ignored it - not her business. She couldn't care less. But...

"Want some free gifts? For the good boys and girls of Team Rocket?" She abruptly suggested to her companion, looking up at him from the side of her eyes with an innocently devious smirk crawling onto her lips.

He was distracted, his mind occupied by thoughts of a recent discovery he had made. Such an exciting revelation had him busy with coming up with scheme which the mere thought of them brought a smile to his face.

What had brought him out of his deep thought was the feeling of warmth from Circe huddling up next to the man which he responded placing a free arm around her. Much like her, there were few that Sam kept close to him, despite his friendly and outgoing exterior he didn’t keep a lot of close friends, and especially not with those in rocket.

”hmm?” What was she squinting at? Samuel took a look for himself and was surprised to see a Delibird accompanied by two rangers. He wondered what sort of goodies were being held in that bag of its.

And much to his surprise, it seemed that he and Circe were having a similar train of thought. ”That’s a wonderful idea but we’ll have to deal with the helpers. I’m sure you have an idea to handle that.”

"oh, absolutely," circe responded in a whimsical tone, "i always supply," sultry tone laced with amusement, a single click could be heard, as the iconic red and white sphere found its way into her palm. from out of the balls depths, her ariados appeared, the large ruby spider's hissing in pleasure at the sight of her mistress. a second ball, and a violent serpent, her arbok, appeared. "ladies?"

sneaking up on them was relatively easy in the somewhat heavy snowfall. a whistle got their attention, and when the two rangers turned to face it, they were assaulted with a bright, paralyzing glare from arbok. a toxic thread was what wrapped them both up, the sickly purple strand tightly binding them in place. She sat on the curled tail of her arbok, chin resting against her palm. though she handled the rangers with relative ease, their actual target though, wide-eyed at the sight of danger, began to waddle off in attempt of escape.

Samuel smiled watching Circe go off and introduce herself to the two rangers. With the two of the preoccupied there would be no one to watch over the Delibird and that was no good! Seeing the little bird try and escape Circe was quite amusing, Samuel almost felt bad for it. He chuckled at the sight and then released two of his Pokémon, Dusclops and Koffing.

”Go say hello to the little guy won’t you.” He’d say to Koffing, the Pokémon smiling before flying off towards the Delibird. ”You see that large bag it’s carrying? Wait for the cue and steal it, make sure it doesn’t see you.” After giving his instructions Samuel waved the Dusclops away.

Once the Koffing reached the Delibird it released a smog from its mouth, covering the bird and obstructing its sight. While it panicked Samuel’s Dusclop appeared from below, having hidden within the Pokémon’s shadow. One of the ghost’s large hands rose from the shadow, reaching for the bag the Delibird carried. This was much too easy.
