Evan juggles the safari balls that he's been handed as he enters the safari, he's after something in particular again but on edge. It's a rarity but he know better than not to be where bouffalant roam, nothing against the pokemon. He just has a track record of making them irrationally angry. Every time. He's almost given up on trying to get past a herd without setting them off.

That's why his blaziken and musharna flank him, between the two he trusts he won't have any issues this time around.

Evan hears the wings before he see them, looking up at the sky and watching as a group of them go by over the safari. He grins, watching as they go. They are his quarry for the day but he is not eager to disturb their flight and lingers on the group when he notices one having a difficult time. It seems to tire, lowering close to the tree tops as it goes and before long nestles onto a branch in front of them.

"Vince." he nods, though he realizes the pokemon is roosting in the tree he sees no harm in helping it along. The gentle tones of a bell chime off in the swirling energies around the musharna, with every gentle sound a wave of soothing energies reaches beyond him and seeks out those that need it. The bird opens its eyes to watch them, and as Evan approaches it hops down onto his shoulder.

He offers it the pokeball, looking to finish his primary goal early. This will make dealing with any trouble that comes his way later far easier.

It's not actually him that finds the pokemon, the Blaziken spots it in the distance and makes a beeline for it. Evan's a little surprised, having not seen the fire chicken do something quite like that before but follows him at a mellow pace.

He finds his pokemon hugging a baaing wooloo who seems increasingly perplexed by the fact that it is being hugged by the humanoid fire bird. Evan cannot contain his laughter.

The man lets the pokemon have his fill of fluff before they continue onward with their endeavor.

Evan's aware that the pokemon is following them, his blaziken looking at him side ways about it makes him chuckle. He thinks it's an interesting little bugger but he can't say he's worried about it nor taking it home.

They continue on like this for awhile, and gets the feeling his blaziken is growing increasingly worried about their tagalong. It's almost amusing and Evan has to pat his shoulder more than once to asure him that everything is fine. With time the treecko gets distracted, or otherwise loses interest in the collection of creatures in front of him and the blaziken mellows out soon after.

it's roaring at nothing in particular and they can hear it from a distance. Evan stops for a moment to listen. It's particularly amusing coming from the little pig pokemon and they watch as it barrels into a crowd of rookidee, scattering them with its cute little rawrs. Evan is laughing as he watches, the ridiculousness of young pokemon was amusing to watch and Evan found it refreshing. Especially after the last month or so's affairs. He feels like he could use a little dose of laughter.

Not that its hard for him to find.

Evan finds himself sitting bellow one of the many trees in the safari, simply resting and enjoying the setting for a moment. His blaziken is on high alert, standing over him to watch for intruders. The musharna seems unconcerned with the goings on of their surroundings and is eager to find a place in the grass to settle for awhile.

The pup approaches tentatively, a single paw reaching out to touch his knee.evan pats his lap and the pokemon clambers up, watching with a dash of worry before it finally settles in.

Evan thinks a nap sounds nice too, and the rest beneath the late winter sky is something he misses dearly.

while evan is busy napping another pokemon finds their way to the tree where he sleeps. At first his pokemon only watch it, hoping it will continue on without mich trouble. The force pamlm against the tree is sudden and alarming, jolting evan awake and sending the poochyena running.

Before he can react the musharna is awake as well and with a huff his telekinesis forces the pokemon into the air, the next attack it tries is quickly contained by a wall of psychic energy. Unable to move the way it normally would have the pokemon is subject to the hypnosis that follows with little ability to resist.

Only once he's rubbed the sleep from his eyes and gotten a good look at the pokemon slumbering mid air does evan realize its unusual coloring, choosing to throw a ball out of curiosity.
