Alec looked weird in scuba-diving gear. It also felt weird to wear it. It was like he was a very tight suit either made of rubber, or leather. He just didn't like the feeling of him wearing it. However, there were Luvdisc that needed saving and since he signed up for the job, he had no choice but to follow through with wearing the suit. There was also the fact that he would be deep-sea diving, so being unable to breathe while diving several feet was definitely not something that would be what he considered 'awesome'.

He awaited for his partner to arrive as he sat there by the shore. He admitted though that the scenery was actually amazing. He hadn't been on this side of Hoenn before. What was so crazy about it was that apparently if you were to keep going west, farther into the water routes, you would more than likely end up near Slateport Beach! It was then that Alec had seen someone approach and had said, "Hiya! You must be my partner then? Alec Foster! Nice to meet ya!" Alec had said, greeting himself with a big goofy grin.

Approaching the coast, helmet and Dratini in hands, Kaida reflected that this was the first underwater endeavour she'd ever been on. Well, even with one Pokemon on hand, she decided she could trust the little dragon. Even small, Nid was tough.

She certainly was not comfortable with her either, she took great, but steps that did nothing to relieve the overly tight feeling over the entirety of her body. She cradled the Dratini resting on her helmet on one arm and extended a hand to Alec, "Kaida Adachi, please support me in this, and we'll do our greatest."

Sending the time was near for diving, Nid made the transition from helmet to shoulder, chirping happily towards Alec.

Alec extended his own hand towards Kaida and said, "Of course! It'll be a pleasure working with ya!" It was then that Alec had finally paid attention to Kaida's Dratini and showed immediate excitement. "Your Dratini's adorable by the way! I train Dragon Type Pokemon mostly," Alec said, explaining his own excitement for seeing the snake like creature. However, they could not just stand here all day. They had Pokemon that needed saving!

"Well, time to get this show on the road! There's some Pokemon called Luvdisc I think they were called? I never heard of em before, but anyways - they are trapped in a small cavern due to some rocks falling over the entrance. They won't be able to survive if they stay under there," Alec said, releasing his Drednaw, Chomper from his Poke ball. Alec immediately got in the water with Chomper and hopefully Kaida and her Dratini was following behind him. As he was putting on his scuba mask, he began to speak once more.

"We can hold on to Chomper here as he take us down into the water. We can get there faster that way! Also, we can use the communicators to speak if need be. You ready?" Alec had said with a grin, having a firm grip on his Drednaw's shell before quickly pointing to his comminicator. He was told they were waterproof which for this situation was a good thing. After all, what would be the point in having them if they didn't work underwater?

"Really? Good choice, they're very sturdy." Kaida replied as Nid hid her face in embarrassment. She wasn't one to specialise in types, it if there was one she could pick, Dragon was not a bad idea.

Upon hearing the situation, Kaida's confidence rose, "Rock blockade, that's easy." Her voice took on a more boastful edge, "Shouldn't even need much time. I'm ready." She put on the helmet, checking over everything before stepping up to Chomper and preparing for descent. Nid clung to Kaida's neck, saving her energy for what to come.

"We're in your care, Chomper."

Alec nodded with a grin on his and had tapped Chomper's tail and said, "You heard her buddy! Lets get goin!" He told his Drednaw and with that, the two trainers and their Pokemon had dove down into the ocean waters, Chomper leading the way, as Alec and Kaida held on. Alec was in awe with how beautiful it looked underneath the surface.

As they had continued downward, Alec had seen some magikarp as well as some feebas swim by. There was also a lot more other fish Pokemon that Alec saw, however, he didn't have his Pokedex to scan any of them. He had left it in the care of the Pokemon Center in Pacificlog town which wasn't very far off from where they were.

"I gotta say, the view down is great!" Alec said, his communicator automatically sending his voice to Kaida as they continued to descend downward. "I wish I could have brought my other Pokemon to see this," he said, eyeing the small school of wishiwashi that swam by them.

Once in the water, two things happened. Kaida felt completely unnatural, and Nid felt right at home. Chomper moved fast, forcing the Dratini to hang on lest she get left behind, but she still looked about in sheer glee.

Kaida pulled herself a little closer to Chomper, raising her own communicator as a group of Remoraid passed by, seemingly sensing their peaceful intent. "Let's keep the view great...I know Luvdisc, and there should be some around...we have to find them...see anything, Nid?" A little chirp came from the Dratini, who kept looking around with shimmering eyes, she was seeing lots of things, but nothing they were looking for.

"Do you have others who could have been here? Mine can swim...but I couldn't bring them, only Nid belongs down here."

Alec was about speak when all of a sudden he had heard fran5ic shrills from Pokemon below them. "Please tell me you heard that sound too," Alec had said, and it was then that the shrills of the Pokemon had begin sound again. Alec looked down and that was when spotted what looked like a small water cavern that had a small mountain of rocks covering the area.

"There down there!" Alec had said, directing chomper towards the giant pile of rocks. "And going back to your answer earlier, I do, actually! I totally forgot I did have them with me," Alec, daid, admitting to Kaida, scratching his head slightly. He wasn't the brightest, but Alec usually makes up for that ... For the most part.

He grabs two Poke balls from his small scuba diving bag, bringing out his Corsola as well as his Crawdaunt. Chomper had stood next him and Kaida as Alec spoke again. "Okay, so I actually have a plan that could possibly help. However, the Luvdisc are trapped inside and with how frantic, they sound, they seem to be hovering by the entrance. If we could get them to back from the entrance inside, then what I have in mind shouldn't put them in danger. Do you think Nid could squeeze through and tell the Luvdisc to back away while we knock down the rocks?"

"Heard them." Kaida confirmed, narrowing her eyes at the collapsed entrance. That wasn't so bad, all things considered. It was likely that the Luvdisc weren't strong enough to move the rocks, they weren't the most strong Pokemon in the world, after all.

From her mask, Kaida wasn't too visible staring at her dim partner, but she was absolutely staring. She hoped his Pokemon had faster thoughts!

Heading the suggestion, Nid floated about the entrance, small size suddenly helpful as she roved over the cracks and holes. "Can you do it, Nid?...If all fails, use a small Twister to drag them away from the entrance, they'll thank us later." She added the latter after a moment of thought, and the Dratini squeaked in agreement before diving into a hole, vanishing.

The shrill cries of Luvdisc only increased in volume as a Dratini entered their midst, but a loud cry suddenly cut them off. Kaida leaned forward, listening carefully before drifting backwards, away from the rocks. "The noise faded. She got them back a little. Go ahead...watch your back. Predators." A sudden swarm of frightened Luvdisc seemed the perfect attraction to a hungry Sharpedo or Huntail, and Kaida would rather the Luvdisc get a second to regain their bearings before they set off into the wild again.

Alec nodded the Kaida informed him that Nid had done her part. "Awesome! Alright you three, now it's your guy's turn!" Alec had said to Cora, Chomper, and Sebastian. First one that was up was Cora. "Alright, Cora. I want you to make a very small eruption under the pile of rocks, but make sure its small enough to not harm Nid or the Luvdisc, okay?"

Alec had said, making sure Cora had understood him, which she did. She nodded with a small trill and had then got to work she had given the seafloor a small tap with her foot, sending a small surge of power towards the pile of rocks. The moment it reached the pile a small eruption occured, which destroyed the bottom layer of rocks in place while the top layer of rocks were hurled upward.

Now, it was Chomper and Sebastian's turn. "Alright! Chomper and Sebastian, you know what to do! Shatter those rocks now!" Alec said. It was so that the rocks would not land on any of them or any of the Luvdisc that may try to hurry out of the cavern a little too quickly. Sebastian flung itself upward, using crabhammer to smash rock after rock into tiny harmless pieces, while Chomper had done the same with a powerful and repetitive jaw lock on the remaining boulders.

The waters vibrated with the cries of Luvdisc darting out of their trap, Nid suddenly shooting out and herding them together so that when they finally all escaped, they would all be together.

As the rock pieces fell, Kaida pointed calmly, "Send them far. Softly." As if she had said an understandable move, the Dratini spiraled back, twirling mid-way and sending a tiny, spinning Twister towards the remaining pieces, scattering them into the waters. "Getting trapped is unlikely now." Kaida turned, covered face not giving away the sudden thumbs-up.

"Good job. Your partners were amazing."
