this had been rather tedious. again, another appearance. she really wish she had the chance to settle down. but the show much go on as they say.


entering the stage, she'd greet the roaring crowd. with a simple command, she'd order the milotic to perform, "water pulse!" the water-type release pulsating rings born from aquatic element.

how embarrassing. to attend another contest? her manager had really been putting her to work. was coordinating some sort of dying career? was her appearance some potential key that would revive this profession? either way, she felt really embarrassed to have taken the place of an actual participant who has been looking to get into contests. the slots were nearly hard to fill these days as is.

entering the stage, she'd greet the roaring crowd. with a simple command, she'd order the milotic to perform, "recover!" the water-type glowed beautifully.

her participation had been merely for fun. it was now time for her and milotic to enter the stage. their appearance had been merely a courtesy. songbird hadn't been apart of contests in such a long time, so she was what one could consider to be fresh meat.

entering the stage, she'd greet the roaring. with a simple command, she'd order the milotic to perform, "disarming voice!" a melodic harmnony would grace the crowd.

INFORMATION



the autumn festival is set in petalburg's contest hall. sponsored by silph co., altru inc., and various other corporations. it was due to 's efforts that many were able to come to an agreement that this would be good. with all that's happened to hoenn, the citizens of this region were in desperate need of a light. for though the war was won, there were many casualties and loss of homes. the proceeds gained from this event are set to be used as a relief funding. this relief funding was made for those effected by the war and for those who are currently dealing with loss.

THEME



as per usual there is a theme. it's your job to interpret the theme how you may so wish. you'll be judged each round based on your ability to showcase a vivid theme with your pokemon. the theme of the autumn grand festival contest is as follows:[break][break]

ROUND(S)



in this contest you will come to find a PERFORMANCE portion and a BATTLE portion. depending on the number of participants, there may be two rounds. if the number exceeds the expected amount, then there will be three. at the moment this event is not expected to have that many participants, so there will be two! below you will find a short description of each round:

ROUND ONE — the performance round (one pokemon limit)

ROUND TWO — battle (one or two pokemon limit, will ask what the participants prefer), the battle portion is where the victor will be decided. this battle is not your average. it is expected that, during your battle, you showcase your pokemon's strength through beauty. both participants must roll every post and in every two post there will be an announcer post dictating your score with a summary of your actions. rolls are not the end all be all, your actions are also taken into consideration and have an effect on your score! again, the goal is to showcase your pokemon's strength in beauty while sticking to the theme.

the day had started with evelyn gently awakening to the sun that slowly peaked. ember hues would come to find themselves locked onto a piece of fabric. it was a jacket. a jacket she'd come to realize had belonged to her brother, . she was hugging a piece of her brother. it was then she'd come to realize that she was sleeping within 's room, his home.

"that's right..." she gently spoke. a soft gaze pondering about his safety, as well as 's, 's and 's. she wondered how they were fairing. today was the day, and the three people she cared most for were putting their life on the line. while they were away, she needed to help the way she could. she remembered that after speaking with , evelyn insisted she allowed her to help. so, on behalf of the league, she would leave 's home in order to conduct a interview with the media today.

once evelyn had gotten dressed. the attire she would come to adorn for today consisted of the following: a dark bell sleeve self-tie crop had been her chosen top, followed by a fly fit & flare corset skirt. lastly, for footwear, she'd don a pair of pointed toed ankle strap stiletto heels. lips, cherry red, were dyed by her lipstick. a wallet purse would come to be held in her hand.

leaving one of 's many apartments. she would begin her walk. her mind in a daze. she had chosen not to take the chauffeur to her interview. she wanted to clear her mind with a small walk, so the bodyguard would follow in the car from afar. as an idol one needed to be careful, after all. as her curly, golden hair caught the attention of many. they would come to realize the woman to be none other than the lead singer eve.

as whispers surrounded her. she was so lost in her thought that the young woman would come to accidentally run into someone. accidentally, and softly, bumping into the individual. she'd come to step back a few feet, saying, "o-oh, i'm sorry! are you okay?!"

she'd come to look away. eyes quickly shifting after his comment, "thomas..." a light smile was hidden behind the palm of her hand. the warmth felt from his words that which held sincerity, they were appreciated and well received. "the tour was fine. nothing out of the ordinary." she was lucky to have been outside of hoenn during the raid from otherworldly pokemon.

she doubt there was much she could do in her current state, but to know that those she cared for were okay was enough to lessen her worries. "it's just terrible that i wasn't there to give you all support. i don't think there's much i could've done, but you don't understand how worried i was when we received news about what had occurred." her mind raced with worry. to have seen so much destruction and lifeless bodies, social media was practically in a frenzy.

"it seems like everyday something more dangerous happens the second i look away." she thought about her brother momentarily. "i'm sure fernando is working himself to death in trying to develop a solution to our problems." looking toward thomas evelyn would come to don a melancholic expression, "would it be too much to ask that you look after him in my place--protect him...for me, thomas?"

"hey, if anyone knows your battle style better than you, it's me!" a playful titter was heard after her comment. "though it's been sometime since i've had a proper battle. i may be rustier than i think, especially the girls..." a hand was brought underneath her left elbow while the other arm would come to place the palm of her hand upon the side of her face. "how troublesome, we've got our work cutout." then again she had no desire to become champion. evelyn wasn't sure exactly what she wanted, but she knew for sure that she was enjoying her peace.

evelyn would come to take notice of a balcony atop of cait's gym. with fernando at her side, access would be easy, no? "now, come with me," grabbing the palm of her brother's hand. she'd tug fernando without hesitation and entered the mauville city gym. with haste she'd come to take her brother to said balcony, all while grabbing flowers on the way and one of cait's gym pokemon. "follow me!"

technically they were trespassing, but they were already deep into the building. cait wouldn't mind, considering it's fernando, so? "here we are!" opening the balcony's doors, she'd come to witness a stunning scenery. "cait's gym is so lovely," turning toward the random sceptile she dragged on the way here. evelyn would ask for the pokemon to do her a favor, "please take a photo of us! i can show you what button to press, it'll be quick and we'll leave!" begging the pokemon, it'd eventually give in. "what doesn't know won't her, and i'll pay you in poffins on my next visit!" turning toward fernando, she'd come to stand next to her brother with flowers in hands.

"you only live once, right? we should do something spontaneous every now and then, be sure to give a nice smile, 'kay?" winking at her brother she'd let out a light giggle. "ready!" evelyn alerted the pokemon. posing beside her brother, a slight breeze would come out of nowhere.

smiling as his request. painted red lips curved with amusement, "then i'll have just that!" evelyn giggled. with a waiter arriving to their table, she'd place her order. once thomas had placed his own folded hands were placed atop of her lap. "you know this is actually my second time being taken out since my being back home from tour." looking down into her lap, strands of hair gently fell over her shoulder. "i heard what happened at the festival, i actually recently spoke with fernando about it," she explained, continuing, "it must have been horrible. i haven't been able to get into contact with since the incident." she was worried about him.

shaking her head in order to rid herself of bad thoughts, she'd say, "everyone must be busy i assume, i'm grateful that you were able to find time for us, though! i was surprised when you invited me out all of a sudden." her cheeks became enveloped within a light pink hue.

"is that so?" a smile formed upon her face. with a trash bin nearby, she'd toss what was left of her ice cream into the trash. "that means you'll have to be my first challenge, then!" hands folded before her, evelyn continued, "i've heard many trainers are becoming more intrigued with challenging the gyms. it never really interested me, but i would be lying if i didn't tell you that i miss the thrill." a childish thought spoken aloud, but nonetheless true. she was missing the adventurous life.

singing was her life, but that didn't become her life until the fall of silas. back then she was a fighter and now that life was thrown behind her.
