There are days where that day haunts him. Nights where sleep escapes him and his mind runs rampant with unwanted thoughts. On those nights, Lux moves to the clearing where his beloved Pokemon play underneath the moonlight and dotes on them. [break][break]

Espeon comes up to his side as if to absorb all his negative energy away, before snuggling up to him. [break][break]

INTRODUCTORY BLURB


A mile, could you walk in my shoes.


a rookie pokemon ranger from fortree city, originally born in galar! although not famous region-wide, lux is quickly gaining popularity among the townsfolk and rangers for his hospitality and bravery for his deeds as a rookie ranger. many consider him to be mysterious and handsome.


PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE


WHAT CAN BE LOOKED UP


• the second child and only son to a pair of environmentalists. their work is stationed in hoenn so he’s relatively close to his family. his older sister, camellia, is an rising star athlete. [break]
• a novice pokemon ranger who’s quickly starting to climb up the ranks! he’s currently stationed in the fortree division. [break]
• psychic-type specialist trainer. though he doesn't limit himself to only psychic types, and catches whatever pokemon he wants.


LEAGUE KNOWLEDGE


POINTS OF INTEREST FOR THE LEAGUE FACTION


• assisted in fending off the SHADOW POKEMON at mt. pyre back in november. his sketches proved quite helpful to the investigation, but other than that lux feels like his contributions as a ranger were lackluster as it ended in failure and death. [break]
• pokemon ranger stationed in fortree city. his current rank is: senior ranger.

ROCKET KNOWLEDGE


POINTS OF INTEREST FOR TEAM ROCKET FACTION


• is no stranger to breaking up rocket-related affairs as a ranger. especially if it regards pokemon poaching. basically, he's a pain in the ass and likes giving them trouble.[break]
• from the sketches he provided the league of the shadow pokemon, with enough digging rocket would be able to discern that lux has a photographic memory unlike any other and never forgets a face. this might prove dangerous for them in the long run.


PRIVATE KNOWLEDGE


PERSONAL SECRETS


• lux's lineage can be traced back to ancient kalos, where his ancestors were valued advisors to the royal family from a unnamed distant region. a common trait between them was that each member of the family had a psychic type partner. it's said that they had an unspoken bond between pokemon unlike any other.[break]
• has a photographic memory. can rememeber any detail from just a single glance.

Not only was Lux making a name for himself as a ranger (though, he hardly considers what he did at Mt. Pyre an accomplishment) but given his knack for Pokemon Performing, seems like he kept gaining more traction in the field. Hence why his prescence was requested in this Mermaid Show. [break][break]
He kneels down in the pool area, smiling down at his beloved Starmie that practices for the show. He has a wetsuit on and swim trunks, still coming to terms to the scar that runs down his back and forearm. A grim reminder of how wrong that day had gone. He can’t completely conceal it. Or the questions that accompany it. [break][break]
Still, like water itself, life must flow and continue to move on. [break][break]
Lux chuckles as his Pokemon splashes in the water. “Having fun, Jewel? We still have a bit of time before the show, so swim to your heart’s content.”[break]

Given that he was born into a family of researchers Lux just had to witness the phenomenon of glowing flowers in person. “Crystablooms” they called them. The moonlight glows down on the area below, and with the luminance of the flowers he had just enough light to sketch these mystical flora. He had also taken the liberty of planting his Gracidea Seed here.[break][break]
Sirius, his Meowstic, has also taken a liking to these strange flowers. He keeps staring at their blue hue, one that matches the color of his eyes. Perhaps that’s why he’s drawn to it. Lux smiles as his Eevee also accompanies him, snuggled by his side as his trainer sketches meticulously, completely unaware of the other person in the vicinity. [break][break]

Given a parting gift of the sense of foreboding embedded deep in their hearts, after all that confusion, the two men are returned back to their own realm.[break][break]
The nostalgic scene of ocean air hits his nostrils and Lux feels himself calmer. His Gallade shares a mutual feeling. This was the Slateport he knew. Allowing his muscles to relax, Lux lets out a breath he wasn’t aware he had been holding in this entire time. [break][break]
Callan voices his gratitudes and Lux smiles in return, before staring thoughtfully back at the sparkling ocean. [break][break]
“Not a problem at all. Let’s just stay out the wormholes, shall we? Well, I’ll see you around.”[break][break]
And with that, the ranger and his Pokemon depart from the scene. [break]

The whole phenomenon over these space time distortions was a complete enigma to him. Being able to hear a Porygon speak let alone offer to guide them out felt a little sketchy, but perhaps these people from the future weren’t all that bad. [break][break]

Lux felt a semblance of pity for the guy and his ruined fishing trip. He’s an avid schedule-abiding person himself. However, much bigger matters were at hand. A whole population of Luvdisc is possibly being threatened here, he had no time for idle chatter.[break][break]
Though, it seems that’s exactly what he’s being suckered into. Giving this man the benefit of the doubt he listens, stoic face and all, before concluding that this was a huge waste of time. Still, he has to show off.[break][break]
“Conrad, was it?” Lux starts, swimming a little closer as his Starmie glides them gently across the water. “Specifically speaking, while Pokemon from other spaces and time periods can appear in Space Time Distortions, there’s no concrete evidence that they take people or even Pokemon along with them. Not to mention there’s no way that scenario would’ve gone unnoticed.”[break][break]
