the moon had barely met its apex, and yet its glorious light lit a clear path to one of many islands rocky islands that broke through the sea's surface around lilycove. it was here that olivia had made camp after her crash-landing on the main island. there was something... off she didn't know what or why, but it had been enough for her careful calculations of the current and weather patterns to be skewed. which in itself was an oddity, for the abbiati - and olivia in particular - were rarely wrong about the coming and goings of the sea.
her mediocre camp had been constructed via the tremendous power of opis - it was all rocks and stone, a dimly lit fire set underground to prevent a smoke trail and trap the heat. her dinner was provided for by the sea and maeara sat near by, purring as olivia meditated - overlooking the crashing tides. how had it come to this? not even a year had passed, and olivia had been served upon the best hoenn could provide. her ancestral seat reclaimed. her own political power growing.
and now? she sat out in the open sea like a hermit.
