dominic feels his phone vibrate in his hands as a phone call comes through from one of the rocket contacts that had been feeding him information throughout the day. while he speaks into the receiver, a wild drapion had skittered out from somewhere among the rocks. he quirks an eyebrow at it but doesn't immediately react - watching instead as his pokemon swarm it in a flurry of attacks. his honchkrow, a gift from mr kelley, drops down with a NIGHT SLASH while his own klefki keeps it pinned in place with FAIRY LOCK. as the drapion snarls and hisses in agitation, dominic sighs and throws out an empty capsule because the cacophony of noise made it hard to hear his caller.
