this war of the worlds has everyone one edge and who could blame them. cannibalistic aliens coming for their home? that was something straight ou tof a comic book, and now it was happening for real. how do people even deal with that? for kazimir it was raiding their camps and taking them out one by one which is why he was here today with Skyler. when the blonde was looking for partners for this job he jumped at hte chance once he remembered who she was, right now she was a bit of a farcry from when he first ran into her. much more aggressive and bent on getting these sort of jobs done as quick as possible.

"ten huh? that's pretty big." a bit too big for a simple recon squad but knowing how much resistance they were facing maybe it was just them being cautious. good. they were going to kneed it if they thought they could take over so easily. "i can distract them, you go around and pick them off from behind. and don't worry." he held up a finger to scilence any sort of interjection about his plan, "i've done this plenty of times before. i got a little neat weapon on my side."

with that he charged forward into the path of the megalopians with a crazed grin on his face as he lifted up his shirt to show off his cut abs. "hey toxic aliens, wanna feast on some delicious galar steak?! its well tendered~" he swayed his hips to make himself more alluring as the aliens told their pokemon to charge and a few of them ran at him as well. with a sway of his hips he threw a ball from his belt and out popped a zeraora who let out a discharge that zapped all those coming at him and making them drop to the floor.[break]

The sailor was about to object to Kazimir's plans when he reassured her that he knew what he was doing. Eyebrows went up at his words, but she nevertheless nodded. "Alright, big guy. Let's get 'em." She remembered the way he'd handled himself back in Slateport when they'd met - probably saving her ass in the process. If he was confident in his abilities, then so was she.

Skyler quickly made her way to the other side of the rocky outcropping, releasing two pokémon before crouching down and peeking over the enemy encampment. 

It was with a growing sense of horror and disbelief that Skyler watched her partner show off his - very cut hot damn - abs and sway his hips tantalizingly at the megalopolans. His words barely reached her, but she didn't need to hear them to guess at their meaning. She did her best to force the blush on her cheeks away. Now was not the time. "Fuck. That idiot." 

As the Discharge felled a few enemies, the innocuous moonlight seemed to intensify for a moment. With a war cry that seemed too aggressive for the Primarina by her side, a MOONBLAST struck down smack into the middle of the enemy camp, blasting away aliens and pokémon alike. 

Skyler left Primarina in the shadows where it could strike from far away, and advanced with Mienshao by her side - coincidentally the same that she'd fought with back when she'd met Kazimir, except that it'd been a Mienfoo back then. "Left side, Miyagi." Most megalopolans were stunned by the surprise attacks, but some were aware enough to advance on her. 

The sailor kicked an approaching megalopolan before Mienshao FORCE PALMed them to unconsciousness. She traded a look with Kazimir, a wild grin taking over her lips despite the situation. "One," she mouthed to him, eyes glinting with challenge.

as skyler jumped out of her hiding spot with her pokemon blasting away more of the aliens kaz kept a smirk on his face as he and his zeraora jumped onto the rest, kicking and shredding them to bits as they joined in on the brawl. as they moved closer to skyler kazimir caught sight of her little invitation to a challenge. how many more otherworlders could the two of them take out? now there was a challenge that kazimir accepted with a smile as his zeraora shot off an aura sphere to send a kingdra flying back into the water.

kazimir turned back to two megalopians who were coming at him with their batons drawn. each of them took a swing at him and despite his large size the man was able to sidestep their swings and give both of them a hard punch to the gut that made them double over and give him the chance to dash behind them and grab their heads. "nighty night." he then slammed both of their heads together and watched them fall to the ground unconscious as raised two fingers in a V at skyler and stuck his tongue out at her. "two."[break]

oh it was so on.

kazimir charged forward and with a haymaker managed to lay out one megalopolan flat onto their back before mounting on top of them and raining blows to their head. behind him came another one with baton in hand ready to strike him from behind the head. that was until a jolt of electricity was shot right up their spine and they fell revealing a zeraora behind them with its paws crackling with electricity. the screams of the otherworlder caught kazimir's attention as he finished knocking out his current prey and turned to give his pokemon a thumbs up. "and that's four! wait do pokemon asists count? i'm counting that one!" he shouted with a giggle as he got to his feet and practically threw himself into the crowd coming after him.

he threw his whole weight against one of them and managed to roll over them and give them a kick to the head as he rose to his feet knocking them out instantly as their body went limp. five!" he was determined to win now than actually rout out these guys, of course doing so would just be a win-win situation so there was no harm in being a bit more competitive was there?[break]

kazimir knocked another one out and held up six fingers. "that makes six! looks like i'm-i'm...hey hey hey! get the hell offa her creep!" things had been going so well, they were actually kicking some ass out here. so seeing one of these aliens try to take a bite out of her and actually draw blood was the snap back to reality that kazimir didn't ask for that told him that they were dealing with some real messed up people here.

luckily skyler proved to be more than capable of taking care of herself than kaz really gave her credit for. watching her tear into that poor megalopolan was both an amazing sight to see and a frightening one. he would be sure to not get on her bad side. these aliens were however getting on the bad side of his zeraora who was just about ready to finish them off as the familiar sight of electricity gathering up around him signaled kazimir that they would need to leave here. fast.

"hey skyler! get a move on!" he yelled as he scooped her up off the megalopan and onto her feet as he ran by and tried to get some distance. his pokemon's discharge was no joke as it let loose and lightning peirced through every body it could reach, sending them down to the ground either twitching or unmoving. a stray bolt came right for kaz and skyler and without even a moment's hesitation kazimir pushed her out of the way as the lightning struck him and enveloped him, sending shocks down to his nervous system as he stood there twitching before falling onto his back as the smell of charred skin was fresh around him as his body gave off small spasms.[break]

everything around him was dark, only the faint voices around him could reach him as he sunk lower and lower into unconsciousness. it wasn't until his body was moving without him telling it to do so that he managed to bring him back to the realm of the living for a moment longer as his vision was starting to clear up. although all he could make out was the blurry image of a blonde looking down at him as he was carried into something and placed down. his eyes started to flutter close once again when he felt water suddenly splash onto his body and the tingling sensation that spread all around his body was starting to die down. soon he was starting to get feeling back in his limbs and his energy was coming back as he shifted around in the boat and his vision became more clear as the image of skyler coming into full view made him blink a few times.

"...hey...how long was i out?" it was as if he wasn't just electrocuted, that was until he tried to sit up and felt his body go numb and get a pins and needles feeling shoot out all around. "gah! ah arceus that feels weeeeird. hah...hah...where...where are we? what the hell happened with the cannibals?" he looked up at skyler with a bit of confusion and worry about what was even going on right about now. just a second ago he was in pain, passed out, and now he can't move his body, seriously did he miss out on all the fighting?![break]

A PUMPKABOO FLOATS BY with a treat clasped underneath its tiny fangs. both of you receive the following:[break][break]

As soon as Kazimir came back to consciousness, Skyler felt an overwhelming wave of relief settle over her. The woman sat back and let out a shaky sigh. Droplets of Life Dew were still shimmering in the air around them, gathering around Kazimir and on his skin.

Skyler suddenly leaned forward and mock-punched Kaz on the arm. "Shit, Kaz, I thought you were a goner. You ass." 

Mienshao was on the lookout for other megalopolans, but everything seemed... quiet. Skyler wasn't sure whether that was a good or a bad sign. She turned back to Kazimir. "Your pokémon got pissed off and electrocuted everyone, you included." A small pause. "Well, it would've electrocuted me if you hadn't shoved me away. Thanks for that by the way." The words didn't feel nearly enough to express the gratitude she was feeling, but now was not the time. She hadn't yet fully processed what had happened anyway. "How are you feeling?"

The captain rose to her feet and looked at the island - no sign of any megalopolans. She couldn't be sure, of course, but this battalion was done for at any rate. And if any of them survived - well, they would know not to expect an easy invasion. 

With her adrenaline wearing off, Skyler was suddenly aware of the blood running down her arm and staining the deck of her ship. She really ought to get that wrapped up. Sharp pulses of pain were starting to spread outward from the injured area. "We should head back."

The engine purred under her feet as Skyler grit her teeth through the pain and maneuvered the boat away from the island. "It's a tie, by the way!" Her voice rang out, head shifting to face Kaz. There was a shit-eating grin on her face. "We both got six of 'em."

"yeah...i think i'm ok...you smell cooked pork?" as he sat up on the boat he gave the sailor a smile as she punched his arm and he weakly fake punched her back in the shoulder. as his zeraora climbed into the boat and stared back onto the beach kaz took a glance at him and wondered what he was going to do with this crazy cat, he sure was strong but needed to try and keep itself in check somehow. guess that's what happenes when your born from a lightning bolt and probably from ultra space. he would have to work on that.

"damn, a tie is it? guess we'll have to try again some other time. these guys ain't going away anytime soon." kazimir chuckled to try and lighten the mood between the two of them. almost dying was probably not what skyler needed to see so up close and from a friend after all, killing some megalopolans was probably not that problematic however. "thanks for the save by the way, you know your kind of badass sky. seriously you could probably take on a whole army by yourself. maybe you can be like....the defender of hoenn's seas or something!" he chcukled as he tried to picture her as some pirate based superhero. she could probably pull it off.[break]
