At this point he was frankly tired of saying it but it was her most powerful move, no need to use anything else. "HYDRO PUMP!" The Prototurtle fired off the water cannon with a certain pleasure. As low to the ground as she was, it was still evident the poison was getting to her.

Like a dose of medicine too strong and over prescribed. It was no different than when Croagunk touched an opponent in the right way; the dosage of his fists being enough to invoke poisoning. Looking down at the frog he finally knew what he would call it.

"Dose!" It looked to him in confusion but only for a moment as he clarified. "BULLET PUNCH!" Before the sludge-pile could get in its rightful "turn" of attack it was being punched to splatter by the iron fists of a frog. Only for it to begin eating something in an attempt to boost its power or restore its health.

In the last second before it could finish Dose jumped clear from it, no longer obstructing its view of the enemy team and the third HYDRO PUMP blasting it into a wall yet again.

Dose used BULLET PUNCH!
Kiri used HYDRO PUMP!
(Kiri suffered poison damage!)

Returning Kiri to her pokéball to slow the spread of the poison he threw out a fresh one to make a capture on the, whatever it was.

The Croagunk smiling wide and hard that it finally earned a name from its master.

Having made another capture, Tadashi was pretty confident as he moved through the caverns, a small smile playing on his lips. He'd taken the Pokeball that he'd caught the Scolipede with, but did take out the Pokeball that held the Bellsprout, wanting to kind of see more of the small grass type Pokemon, or well... At least interact with it some. He did let out the grass type, and could see its thin figure, and the grass type looked up towards Tadashi now that it had a Pokeball to call its own. Though before Tadashi could really do much in ways of beginning to interact with what he hoped could be a new teammate, there was a small chuff of a roar that came from a corridor. Tadashi turned, finding a rounded figure moving towards them, and his Pokedex identified it as a Litleo, a small lion cub Pokemon. The device mentioned it was a fire type, and Tadashi was going to call for Ostinato to test his mettle, but the Bellsprout leaped forward without hesitation. Vines began swinging, and the grass type gave out a shrill cry as it struck the Litleo with a quick succession of Poison Jab attacks... And Tadashi could tell that this thing definitely did have a kind of vendetta against fire type Pokemon in being in a place like this... The lion cub pounced and slashed with its claws, biting at the vines that it managed to catch with blazing fangs, but nothing seemed to slow down the Bellsprout in its assault. Tadashi almost felt bad for the Lion Cub now... And he quickly tossed out a Pokeball to try and at least capture it in an attempt to get the Bellsprout to stop with its whipping vines and powerful jabs.

As a weepinbell crossed his path, he recalled the story of the bully bellsprout that tormented his Drillbur into premature evolution. One pkmn wouldn't be made to suffer for a species' members slights but that kinda of tenacity could have been useful on the team. If not that, a good gift to someone.

Either way this was going to be one of the fastest captures in history. He recalled Kiri and Dose; poison and water attacks wouldn't break the sweat of a posion/grass type. Making sweat was a job for fire. Between three fingers he held and threw two pokeballs.

From them emerged a dragon that could fly breathe fire but wasn't a fire-type and a lizard that could breathe fire and eventually grow wings, but wasn't a dragon-type. He couldn't make this shit up. "Jakka, INFERNO! Salamence, FLAMETHROWER!"

The tower of fire from charmander was superheated by the constant stream of fire from Salamance creating a fire hotter than the sum of its chemical and temperature compositions. When the flames subsided the heat persisted.

Jakka used INFERNO; it super effective!
Salamence used FLAMETHROWER; it super effective!

The dried, withered and singed weepinbell seemed relieved to be taken in by a thrown pokeball. It didn't have to be torn apart as plant food for two fire-breathers.

Just as he'd put away the captured Weepinbell. Another Muk came most colorful came sliding by.

Trying to piece together what its typing was to better understand how to battle it nothing seemed to come to mind but its natural poison state. The color splashing on it body made him feel as though if it had another type, it was psychic.

Keeping it simple he repeated the same tactic having Jakka and Salamence combine fires to create an INFERNO attack, pushed up to eleven as a FLAMETHROWER napalmed the center and base of the INFERNO.

Jakka used INFERNO; A!Muk was badly burned!
Salamence used FLAMETHROWER!

Although it was simply two fire attacks its effectiveness couldn't be understated. So much so that even against a pokémon that seemingly wasn't weak against fire it was unable to fight on afterward. It slumped back being hit with a pokeball, seemingly giving up on an escape, and more fighting.

Continuing through the caverns, Tadashi returned the Bellsprout as quickly as he could, not wanting it to go completely postal on another fire type that it might cross. That definitely was something he felt that he would have to work on with the grass type, though he wasn't really sure on how he might be able to do that... For the time being though Tadashi was definitely enjoying exploring the cavern, listening to the various sounds that echoed through and bounced off of the walls, and learning more and more about the Pokemon that could be found here. His Pokedex chimed again, he had decided to keep it out for sake of identifying and helping himself with the various Pokemon around here, and it identified something that he had had yet to encounter. A small quadrupedal shape was moving towards them, with big ears and a fluffy tail it looked like, and the Pokedex identified it as a Fennekin, a fox like fire type Pokemon from the Kalos Region.

"Neat, the Kalos region? That sounds pretty cool, let's give this a try Ostinato," Tadashi commented, letting the water type step forward for a battle. He held is shell in his paws, and it had already started to drip with water before he gave out a cry, and lashed out with a torrent of water that streamed out from the shell as he threw it. The Fennekin yipped at the suddenness of the attack, as it had tried to rush forward in shrouded flames, but the shower of water and the force of the shell knocked back the Fennekin along the dusty ground. Ostinato caught his shell and rushed forward in seeing his opportunity to strike again with an open window, turning and striking with his tail and a powerful shower of water. Tadashi stayed clear of the battle, when it came to these kinds of attacks he could only be aware of so much, but he did see the figure of the Fennekin on the ground, and he did throw a Pokeball in an attempt to capture the fire type.

"There's another one Kiri, lets do this again using what we know." Still pained from her injuries and ready to attack from cracking off her shell the Tirtouga was happy to have a rematch with the pokemon that burned her without fire. "HYDRO PUMP!"

The 2nd Gulpin never stood a chance as the pressure alone from the determined turtle seemed to knock it for a loop.

The water cannons made the living stomach into an odd ragdoll as it was blasted three times becoming less responsive with each momentary pause.

Kiri used HYDRO PUMP!
(until Gulpin stopped moving...)

With its ability to fight and run pressure washed away the 'gut' was taken in by the red lights of a pokéball.

Crimsen attempted to catch Gulpin!

Finally done with his capturing for the day Sénon turned his attention to the nearby trainer emerging. With a greeting and an exchange of names he would go on with his day looking forward to returning here for captures again.
