It was a fun little surprise to return to the Safari Zone in hopes of catching more pokémon, he'd heard word that the place was crawling with bred shiny pokémon and the possibility of a shiny shinx piqued his interest. He returned the same week that he first visited only to find renovations already completed to a Halloween theme.

He entered the building area previously unvisited.

He stepped slow and mindful of the arrangement of the halls doors and windows; the latter was quite scarce.

Ascending the stairs to the upper level he pondered what pokémon to use defaulting to one that fit the current motif of the safari zone, and one that had proved highly effective in the safari zone.

"Foongus, stay on my shoe." With a 'squee' and nod the tiny mushroom hopped on his shoe's tip and hunkered down for a ride. "Haunter, don't let any ghosts sneak up on us." Letting her tongue hang out and pulling down her lower left eyelid she laughed in confirmation.

Sensibly, he was going for a clean sweep.

It almost didn't matter what he came across.

Unlike the last time, he would capture everything he came across until he had one of each pokémon available for this haunted run of the Safari Zone. He hadn't bothered to check any listings of what pokémon had been supplied, he wasn't sure if there were any listings of what pokémon had been supplied.

Once on the second floor he walked into a bedroom seeing nothing of note only for a ghostly tree stump to be standing in the doorway blocking his path. Despite Haunter being under orders not to let anything sneak up she failed to keep this one from getting the drop on them. As unnerving as that was, it spoke and with a human-like voice no less. "I'm lost..." It frowned at him with sad longing eyes. "can you help me..?" Strangely, the voice rang out in his head although the creature's mouth didn't move as if it was projecting its voice into his head.

Before he could answer it started to move to him.

"Haunter! MEAN LOOK! Foongus, STUN SPORE." Covering his mouth and nose with his forearm he watched the golden spores cover the child-like treestump; paralyzing its movements though not its ability to speak supernaturally nor its unnerving stare. "can you help me..?"

Haunter used MEAN LOOK!
Foongus used STUN SPORE!

"Yeah." He tapped it gently with the first Safari Ball. "I can help you."

Crimsen attempted to capture Phantump!

Turning around after capturing the Phantump, Sénon never noticed a purple feline creep up behind him. Seemingly minding its own business and not so much targeting the human he turned to recognize it too late as it as highspeed swipes of its paws not unlike FURY CUTTER, kicked up the spores from Foongus' last use STUN SPORE.

Having no coverage over his mouth and nose he breathed in the spores and immediately fell out from paralysis. It felt like all his extremities had 'fallen asleep' but no amount of wiggling would wake them. Given his size he didn't expect to be out for very long but he'd been put down long enough for the purple minx to knead his core and curl up comfortably on him to take a nap.

As unnerving as it was to be unable to move on the floor of a spooky manor he remembered this was a safari zone and he wasn't in much danger if any at all.

Ordering Haunter and Foongus to watch over him he thought it best to simply nap with the cat until he could move again. When he came to, the cat was still asleep and gently he took it into his arms as he got to his feet. The purrpetrator rumbled in his arms as he began to continue into the shadows but it never fought against him or attempted to leave his side; joining his ranks of its own free will.

Crimsen purrsuaded Purrlion!

Eventually the Purrlion awoke from her slumber and her insistence on being carried kept his hands occupied but as he encountered the next wandering pokémon he knew he had everything he needed to capture it. He'd learned a lot about Sableye during a mission in the sewers recently.

Still quite aware he was in the Safari Zone and damage to the landscapes was a big no-no; damage to props or building properties had to be a bigger no-no. He was lucky that he had a combination that didn't damage the surroundings or the environment; only the pokémon being targeted. "Foongus, STUN SPORE. Haunter MEAN LOOK!" With Haunter as a distraction its attempt to get the Sableye not to run away didn't work as intended but it worked in the end as it covered in spores before it could make an escape.

Haunter used MEAN LOOK; it had no effect!
Foongus used STUN SPORE; Sableye was paralyzed!

On its back unable to move the Sableye blinked slowly as the tall human loomed over him with a Haunter, Foongus and Purrlion.

"Haunter; triple HEX!" With a deviant smile the ghost-type flashed her eyes in a strobe at the Sableye after moving her hands about as the emanated ghostly energies concluding by licking the purple imp three times.

Haunter used HEX; critical hit!

With its body unable to move and its brain seemingly fried given its swirling head, Sénon would activate a safari ball against its head, after doing so for the purrlion as well.

As he neared the back exit of the manor he descended the stairs approaching a large set of double doors, pushing through them he saw the familiar breaking of daylight through the glass of windows in a corridor. Obstructing only one of the windows he saw a ghostly corsola whimpering with teary eyes sitting atop a nightstand.

Although he almost passed it up there was something in the sound of its whimpers that stopped him in his tracks.

Back-peddling to face it he was reminded of how he caught his corsola; a plucky little reef spawn that just wanted a different life than the rest of her species in pacifidlog town. She sought him out and in her own way asked to join him and proved she was ready for it. This sad one seemed like it didn't want to go with him specifically "I get the sense you don't want to be here do you little one?" but rather, wanted to be anywhere but here.

Setting the last of his safari balls before it, the white corsola didn't move only continuing its cries. "You can come with me, you know?" It stopped its cries long enough to consider his words. Picking up the safari ball to gesture it towards the g!corsola he put it back down before her and then removed all six pokéballs and three occupied safari balls before emptying them all.

Taking a step back the G!Corsola would see the red haired man be swarmed by a small platoon of pokémon. A Haunter licked his back, Charmander and dizzy Sableye played hide and seek around his legs. A Purrlion jumped up his back to perch on his right shoulder. A Ditto worked its way inside his shirt while a Riolu and Foongus took to his left shoulder. A Shinx cleaned itself to pristine while a Phantump peeked out from behind the human's back shyly.

Still a bit a sad she had long since stopped crying and seemed at least a little curious and the human and his group of pokémon. Sénon seeing this slight change in demeanor took the initiative for her tagging it with the last safari ball and waiting out the process to see if it would accept its capture or break free.
