A small fox bounded about, minding its own business. That was until her gengar abruptly appeared in front of it with a ghastly shriek, pulling itself from the shadows. The poor fire type screeched, scrambling to try and get away before it was struck with a dark pulse. The ghost type looked adoringly up at Circe, pointing towards what it'd done rather proudly. Circe merely stared for a moment, letting out an exasperated sigh before tossing one of the safari balls at the victimized pokemon.

A faint glow in the nearing distance easily catches the scientist's eyes. Like a moth drawn to a flame, she approaches. Eyes settle onto the pitiful looking pokemon that seemed to curl up further into itself, shuddering away from the woman. Its odd coloring easily triggers the greed the woman possess. And though she faintly wonders how much she'd get for selling it, the idea of keeping such a pokemon for herself is just as tantalizing.

"Gengar," she calls out for her pokemon with a slight sneer, who ruptures from her shadow with a widened smile. All it takes is a few dark pulses before a safari ball consumes it.

Satisfied with her capture, Circe pockets the pokeball. She notices that her gengar's disappeared, as there's no eerie flicker of her shadow awkwardly moving. Despite this, she's not concerned, just...annoyed. The ghost had a mind of its own - but, it'd come back eventually. Instead, she releases her ariados. It skitters about, pausing only when a sound becomes apparent to them both. The predatory pokemon moves first before the trainer can command it. Poisonous thread lurches from mandibles, entangling an unsuspecting purrloin within it. Struggling to get out of its prison, the ariados finishes off its victim with a poison jab before yet another safari ball is tossed at the fainted feline.
