Her shrill voice tore through the calm and serene peace of the flower bed, literally cutting through the colorful background like a surging ship. Patches of grass and petals were torn and thrown in the air with each hurried step she took. Perry ran away with all her might, not even bothering to look back. “W-Wait! Nae! I-I’m sure we can work this… we can work it out! Yes! Please, calm down Naee!”

Not too far behind was a Lilligant, fury in her eyes as she chased down the perpetrator for her misfortune. Nae never wanted to be captured. She was enjoying the single life of a Pokemon, basking in the glory of her fame and admirers. But then no, she had to meet this freak and her pervert of an Infernape.

Unfortunately, Perenelle wasn’t watching where her stampede led her, and a certain green haired girl and her flabebe were on the way. She couldn’t stop her legs from running, tears in her wake. “Waaaatch out! Please get out of the…”

And then she tripped, a human sized projectile speeding towards the duo.

Perenelle didn’t know whether she was thankful they got out of the way, or hurt that they didn’t even try to save her. Then again, she was just a little girl, just like her. What could she do when she, the trainer and master of said perpetrator, couldn’t do anything about it? Specially when she had her face planted on the ground, alongside the beautiful, albeit ruined, flower beds. Perhaps she could become a beautiful flower if she stayed planted in ground long enough.

The Lilligant jumped, finally able to avenge her deceased future, and was about to unleash her fury on Perenelle when her line of vision became invaded by someone else. Perenelle could faintly hear the voice of a girl, probably the one she would’ve injured upon collision if not for her heroic antics, and fair warning. She wanted to know what she was saying with such a frantic voice.

There was no way the lilligant would give up on her grudge so easily. She made it sound so easy. As if everything would go her way with just a magic word! No. She wouldn’t stop. If this human stood in her way, then she’d feel the wrath of Lilligant! Petals begun to rise from the base of her dress, and furiously flurry around them. But her Petal dance would be cut short by an in-coming Pokeball that went straight to her face. Perenelle had recovered just in time, breathing heavily, still stuck in a pose like a baseball pitcher after throwing a fastball.

“P-Phew!” She went past the girl and her flabebe to pick up the Pokeball. “That was a close call. Thankfully no one got hurt!”
