The moon was high in the sky as the youth came to a stop in front of the Park's entrance, hand on his hip and net on his shoulder, a grin on his lips and a Snom on his head, right above his straw hat.

Oh yeah. It was time.

"Can you feel the experience in the air, Lepi?" He said, grinning wide. In response, the little bug whined, barely keeping herself from digging through the youth's straw hat and into his mess of hair.

"Oh, have some confidence in yourself, gorgeous. I just know that tonight is THE night." He said with complete, awe inspiring certainty.

At least, it had been awe inspiring 2 nights ago, when he had said it for the first time. Now it just filled her with dread for what was to come.

"Let's gooo!"

"Oh, I like you." He said (purred) as he stared at the first pokemon that had dared (sleep) stand in their way.

Lepi didn't seem to share Doug's sentiment, however. She backed away from the still sleeping pokemon- only to be forced to stop as she backed herself all the way into Doug's foot.

He simply tilted a brow at her from underneath his hat.

He snorted. "What even, girlie?" He squatted behind her, rubbing her head gently. "Can't bring yourself to attack an unsuspecting opponent or something?"

Not at all, but hey, if it meant she didn't have to fight... she nodded furiously.

"That makes sense." He said, before sighing, reaching into his pocket to produce an empty pokeball. "I've no such issues, though!"

He chucked the pokeball like it were baseball at the sleeping turtle like pokemon.

He probably wouldn't even feel it. Probably.
