Skyler stomped across the deck of her ship, blonde hair flying wildly around her as she checked on the wild Staryu that had been brought onto her ship. The sailor frowned at the darkly lit gem at the center of the pokémon, the usually bright red glowing instead a dark crimson, like blood.

Poisoned Pokémon kept popping up from the ocean - some of them angry, aggressive. Others reached them with their last breath, succumbing to the alien venom before anyone could do anything about it. It was, Skyler thought while gritting her teeth, a travesty.

Hoenn, and Lilycove specifically, was a long way from going back to its former healthy self. 

A tringular mess of blond hair caught Skyler's attention, and the sailor leaned over the railing of the Sotally Tober to try and get a glimpse at the person. If that was who she thought it was-

"Lars!" If the man turned to face the direction of her call, he'd see Skyler waving her arms at him, grin in place as she descended onto the docks and approached him. She'd then slap a hand over his back, eyes glittering with a strange mixture of affection and playfulness. Despite the whole situation, it was clear the woman was happy to see her friend and drinking buddy. "Nice to see you out here! Helping out with the pokémon?"
