The fossil creature and the ground creature played with each other for a while. The cranidos darting towards the mudsdale head on before the musdale either dodge his attack or kicked it back with his hooves. Grayson scribbled down notes, observing the new pokemon for a moment before looking down to scribble more. But when the muddle dodge one of his attacks, something else caught the cranidos’s attention. A sandshrew slashes its claws at it, egging his pokemon on. Grayson’s eyes widened as the mudsdale trotted behind him to watch, thankful that creature’s was distracted by something else.

His cranidos charged forward without hesitation, Grayson flipping the page in his notes and begin to scribble down more words. The sandshrew curled into a ball, ready to use some kind of ball attack. However, his cranidos was swift than the wild pokemon thought. His creature head smashed into the ball, sending the creature flying through the air and out of their sight. The trainer frowned, almost pouted a lip. “I kind of wanted one of those,” he mumbled to himself, sighing as he flipped back to his previous page, “All well... I guess.” The cranidos gaze flicked the area, looking for his next target.

And the next target was spotted.

The fossil creature dug his foot into the earth, red eyes on his prize. And when he felt ready, the creature charged forward as swiftly as his little body could take him. His head lowered just a few feet in front of the creature, ready to headbutt the poor wild sunflora just trying to basking in the sunlight. “Wait no,” Grayson stood and called out to his creature, hand extended out as if it would help. Unfortunately, it did. The sunflora brewed up a massive leaf storm, knocking the rock type off his feet and tumbling off to the side. Grayson glimpsed, arms rose to shield his face from the sharp blades of grass the danced in the wind.

It was only when he felt like the storm over did he drop his arms, gaze turned to where the sunflora was last seen. To his surprise, the wild creature vanished in the storm. His gaze then shifted to his fossil creature as it rose to its feet. He shook it off, stumbling slightly before the Cranidos gaze met the mudsdales. “Oh no,” the trainer sighed, knowing what was about to happened. Once again, the creature darted towards the mudsdale intending on head butting him once again. Grayson sighed, gaze shifted to his Gardevoir. Does this one have too much engery or just likes to headbutt everything it sees?

Sigh.

Reaching into his pocket, the man pulled out the fossil creature’s ball. With a simple press of a button, the ramping little cranidos was sucked into his ball. His gaze examined the ball deep in though, brows scrunched together before shoving the ball in his backpack. He turned, sitting down on his make shift seat and scribbled more notes on his notebook.

The mudsdale snorted, left front hoof dug into the sand. Grayson lifted his eyes, seeing that creature appearing sad. “I’ll give you a carrot later,” the man told the horse like creature, “Let me finish my notes on the cranidos before we head out.” The mudsdale bobbed his head, mocking a ‘yes’ that the human too.

It was only after he finished his notes that he retrieved a treat from his bag, fed it to the ground type, and recalled the creature back in his ball. Once all this possessions where in his bag and on his back, he noted to his creature. “Teleport.” Within seconds, they disappeared.
