It took at least a minute but eventually he was able to open his eyes again. One by one he recalled Onix, Ranton, and Magneton leaving only Metang in the field. Of all the scattered and opened pokéballs on the road most of them seemed to be working order. At least they would get some of the lost product back, pokéballs weren't exactly cheap the dozens recovered was better than recovering none, especially if the plan to track them didn't work. Approaching the tread marks from where the van's tires peeled out there was a one single ball sitting upright on side of the road. From all counts it looked as if it were placed on the ground rather than haphazardly thrown. Activating it he found a Kirlia inside. (  )Keeping it for himself was surely against the rules but after the licking he took he it didn't much care. He'd always wanted a Ralts or two on the team. But as he sat on Metang flying back to the League pick up spot and reassuring the Kirlia he wondered... Why would they leave it behind and take the others? |
