Oscar went from having no pokeballs to having too many. He was fucking drowning in pokeballs! Up to his ears the little shits! And so once again he found himself in route 117, although this time there would be no false pretenses for why he was there.

At his side sat Emma the Ariados, a sickly looking thing with eyes deader than a strip club on a Tuesday afternoon. The monstrous shadow assassin wasn't exactly good company, but she was an excellent hunter which is why Oscar brought her along. He had but one order to provide, "Go catch me something good." The spider launched forward, camouflaging with her surroundings as she began her search.

Oscar stood by and waited, wondering what she would find.

Emma dragged back a Thievul of all things, the wily fox already knocked out by the spider's venom. Oscar considered rejecting the specimen, but began to consider other possibilities. He needed more pokemon that understood the art of stealth, perhaps a pokemon born to steal and loot could prove to be useful.

Oscar decided to just go for it, he doubted anything else would be worth his resources. Oscar pulled out a pokeball and tossed it at the Thievul, already regretting his choice.
