Now this was a surprise. As Matlock soared higher and Mozart clinged to him, Mercutio spotted something that made him actually look twice. A mienshao was resting upon a rock, calm and collected. He doubted it was sleeping since it was sitting up straight. Now these were a very elegant pokemon, but they were more than just pretty looking. They were fighting type, and honestly, Mercutio found himself considering it. But...at the same time...was it wise to disturb it? How well could incoperate it into his team as well as outside of battles?

It seemed the fighting pokemon sensed the bird flying up high, it's eyes opening and it swiftly retreated to the treeline. Welp...he had his chance and he blew it due to indesicion. Mercutio gave a sigh as he bent down and picked up Mozart.

"Maybe I should just focus on a larger flying pokemon then?" Mercutio asked the small bug.

The small pikipek cry reached his ears and he looked to see the small bird watching Matlock with curiosity. Mercutio didn't think it would pose a threat so he left it alone, thankfully it wasn't showing interest in Mozart. So the man at least could relax his hold on the little bug; however Mozart seemed to cling harder to him. Any bird probably scared a pokemon pokemon. Welp, one more look around wouldn't hurt.

Mercution should've gone for the meinshao, he should've. But once again his uncertainty got the best of him....drat. The Machoke was the next thing to catch his sight and you know what, fine. He'd do this. Going for something was better than just walking home empty handed again. Sure, was it really important to get this pokemon? It might not be...but at teh same time, why did he want to at least feel like he made some progress? He needed to make some progress!!

"Matlock! can you hear me?!" MErcutio called, looking up to the sky.

Nothing, the starvia had moved out of sight...dang it. Looking back to the pokemon, Mercution felt everything go tense as the pokemon seemed on edge. Mozart clinged to the man, shaking slightly. Not good...not good. Sure he had other pokemon he could use but Matlock was a bird type, that was super effective against the muscle pokemon. The Machoke was already ready to fight though, raising a hand and swinging it toward the man!!

Out maneuvering a pokemon was a bad idea, you wouldn't always stay on top of em, even if you did dodge. But Mercutio had some fighters training and while it wasn't the same as what a pokemon like this did, the man would rather try to imply tactics he knew, than try to outrun it. Ducking down as the cross chop sailed over his head, Mercutio ran past them. He was gonna have to find that bird and start training them.

The only thing that really annoyed him though was going home empty handed once more.
