Unfortunately, the first thing Alexei encountered was—

Oh, fucking hell!

“What the fuck!” Alexei exclaimed, seeing the anchor and—oh shit, why were the hairs on the back of his neck standing up? Was this—a bad idea?

Oh, definitely!

Without thinking, without even looking, he pulled a Pokéball at random and flung it out, pointing. “Incinerate it!” he shouted at random, because his panic was going off and it was insane, thank fuck majority of his companions knew Flamethrower in some way, shape or form—

And then he heard a familiar roar, his Salamence had emerged!

Wasting no time, a burst of flames erupted from the Salamence’s maw, heading right toward the Dhelmise, who had fired off a powerful blast of something sparkling Alexei didn’t want to know anymore.

“Dodge! Be careful!” he continued, closing his eyes because the way his senses were going off, it was a fucking Ghost-type and he didn’t want to be near it!

A Whirlpool erupted from the Dhelmise’s ‘maw’ (if it had one, how strange) but the Salamence countered it with an avalanche of Rock Slide headed right towards the cursed…thing.

A loud squeal of pain came from the Dhelmise—it sounded like rusty chains being clanked on a ship deck—before the Salamence opened fire again with a second Flamethrower blast. He hoped that there was someone out there who was looking for this particular Pokémon because holy hell balls he did not want to be near it!

Chucking an empty Pokéball at where the Dhelmise had crashed onto the grass, he waited…
