The trek had better been worth it, he thought, as it was now dark. The night sky was rather dim, little stars were present though the moon gave enough light to grant vision despite the mist that engulfed the mountain. Tombstones scattered across the area, erected by those bereaved of their most beloved pokemon.

Alek brought his flashlight for this very situation, shining a beam of light towards his way in hopes of finding a worthwhile catch.

A wild meditite peered from behind one of the tombstones. Alek didn't gave such any mind, however, uninterested of what it may have to offer. He was in search of ghosts in particular, however, he wouldn't ignore any psychics that may come his way. If it weren't totally out of character, then he would've most likely been vlogging by then. But alas, it was Alek, not some brain dead influencer from the pokenet

Alek gave a different spot nearby a shine of his torch, hoping to catch sight of an interesting ghost, or psychic, type to nab. By then, he was already considering the thought of an old folk tale; a tale stating that by chanting 'spiral shivs' thrice, a malevolent ghost should be sure to appear. He cleared his throat, resisting the urge to do so.

While ghosts sure were tempting, the idea of experimenting on a bunch of eggs gave much for Alek to be desired. He knew well that he's able to force mutate the evolution of such, allowing him to grain a regional variant with a bit of tinkering here and there. Knowing such, Alek decided to nab the batch of cracked eggs in exchange of his ghoulish wish.

Out came his grimer, and with a mud bomb, the exeggcute was left with little ways to retaliate in shock. With that done, Alek retrieved his grimer and threw a ball towards the clump of eggs, catching the bunch.
