let's go out with  a bang

being from galar she was expecting to find pokemon native to hoenn... in hoenn. but of course all expectations go out of the window at some point in travels. her first unexpected encounter happened to be a quite familiar one, a sobble. though what it was doing here was an absolute mystery to her. nevertheless she wasn't going to let this opportunity pass her by. not when she needed to bulk up her team. grabbing one of the pokeballs on her belt.

tossing it in the air as she had practiced so many times in her room, giselle released the pokemon from inside. the clobbopus was more than ready to duke it out with this sobble, especially since this was the first time they weren't simply having just a mock battle in the hallway against sir or one of giselle's other pokemon. finally sobble noticed that she wasn't alone in the slightest and that she might be about to have an issue.

with a squeal the sobble began to dig in the sand a bit, trying to hide herself. not for a moment remembering that if she simply ducked into the water she could probably completely disappear. but it was all the better for giselle and capulet. "use bind capulet!" without hesitating the tantrum pokemon wrapped her tentacles around the water type. it seemed as though the sobble wouldn't go down without a fight though.

capulet took a liquidation to the fight, tentacles loosening slightly as she was taken off guard. but she was not about to give up on her grip entirely. instead she lifted the sobble above her head, slamming her down as hard as she could on the soft sand with her reversal attack. the anger at being hit in the face by a liquidation fueling the reversal into causing a bit more pain.

even with the sand being soft it was enough to stun the sobble into inaction and taking that into account giselle threw the pokeball, hoping that it would be enough to keep the water type inside and if not... well she wasn't sure what would happen if not.
