MARCH UPDATE

he had a love / hate relationship with flower shops for the most part if he was being honest. yes, they did great for flowers and whatever but a lot of them tended to think that just because it was good for a flower that it was automatically good for any plant pokemon. that's why he was reluctant to go into this random flower shop and why he was reluctant to deal with anyone inside. at least internally. externally he looked as he always tried to, shy and unapproachable because of it for the most part. normal people didn't like dealing with overly shy people he'd found so it made for a good cover.

chunhua was the reason he had even come in here. the sunflora tottering off on her own and into the shop. she'd done it before whenever she saw something shiny or interesting and he didn't have the heart to really pull her in from it. whatever she wanted to do she pretty much got to do. so while the sunflora wandered around the shop he decided to have a look as well. after all if he was going to be here he might as well look at things.

The evening was rather slow for Simone's shop, so he was well prepared for any customer that walked through the door. A bell rung as a sunflora slipped inside the shop the man quickly smiled and welcomed the pokemon thinking that it was a person, not a pokemon. "Welcom- oh" Blinking upon noticing SImone gazed down at the sunflora pondering where it's trainer was. He didn't have to wonder for to long as a person quickly came into the shop following the sunflora. "Hello welcome sir" Simone greeted once more, smiling bright.

For the most part Simone's shop was small, but all the flowers that were for sale were well maintained and blooming nicely filling the shop with it's pleasant aroma. "Let me know if you are looking for anything specific sir" Simone added and returned to cleaning around the counter.

blond and bubbly, that's what he expected from a small shop like this. it was what girls on the internet fawned over after all so of course it would be what he would end up walking into. chunhua seemed determined to ruin his life it felt some days. as the sunflora began to wander around the shop at random he tried not to get pissy about being in here. after all it would ruin his reputation as a shy librarian if he acted like an asshole. "sorry for just wandering in... she has a mind of her own and it's hard to keep her under control..." he didn't look at the other guy, instead stared intently at one of the many flowers that had decided to sprout beautifully in here.

“don’t worry about it” Simone responded calmly, blinking as he watched the sunflora wander about. His shop seemed to attract all sorts of Pokémon.. his mind remembering when Mochi’s pichu also walked on into his shop a few weeks prior. His thoughts went away quickly, Simone watched as the other man stared silently at the flowers. “Pretty huh? It was a little difficult for me to get them to grow..” He chuckled weakly trying to start a conversation, Simone was under the impression that Jinha wasn’t the friendliest.

Meanwhile a lilligant would poke her head from behind the counter where Simone stood. Curiously looking at the other man with an innocent look, she raised her branch like arm towards her face. Deciding if she should approach him and the sunflora or not. “This is Peony, she’s a little shy” Simone spoke, noticing that his Pokémon was having trouble approaching, he would give her a gentle push forwards.

he was much more interested in grass type pokemon than he was in actual flowers but he still needed to pretend to be kind he supposed. "they're pretty. i don't know very much about actual flowers." chunhua was the opposite of shy really. especially when it came to other pokemon. especially when it came to other grass types. the sunflora had no hesitation on approaching the liligant, her leaves shaking in excitement.

"chunhau, don't crowd her... sorry, she loves other grass types." he was apologizing a lot for chunhua today it seemed. though that wasn't very unusual. "do you have a lot of grass types?" that would at least be something to talk about.

There was a small smile on Simone's face, "I'm glad you think so" There was a sense of pride in growing beautiful flowers. He blinked as Sunflora approached peony swiftly, a gentle laugh came from Simone "Don't worry Peony enjoys the company of other grass types as well." Simone gently shook his head at Zhao's question "Just two, a torterra as well.. most of my pokemon are rescues, it doesn't matter to me what type they are."
Giving Peony a gentle pat, he'd look back at Zhao. "I have to say that I do like grass types a little more though."

jinhai lost a bit of interest once he realized the other man wasn't exactly a grass type enthusiast. of course people were going to have their own preferences but he really tried to keep his pokemon to just what he wanted and what he liked. and that was grass types. sure there were a few others on his team but it couldn't be helped when you just randomly acquired them through various rocket activities. "a torterra? interesting. i don't have a torterra yet." but the large grass turtle was definitely on his list, all grass types were.

"Yes.. a torterra." Simone said with light laughter, seeing how excited the man was about the pokemon he felt it wouldn't be fair to not show him. He pulled out his torterras pokeball, clicking it to have the large grass type emerge before them.

The grass type would look towards Jinhai in a curious fashion, beady eyes fixated on the man. "So do you know
a lot about grass types?" Simone asked slightly interested
