Hail started up, slow but still painful as it hit his skin. It reminded him of up on the mountain top not long ago, an Abomasnow breathing down his neck and having to be saved. Chu-e scowled. It was easy enough to find to culprit, a blue dinosaur huddled in the frozen grass whose body shimmered in warning. It was scared, from what he could see. Chu-e would give it a reason to be scared.

"Sunshine, burn the hell out of it. I hate that ability." Not enough to kill because it was still very pretty, though. Sunshine shook out his mane and leaped at the other pokemon, a Flame Wheel lighting up his body. It tried to counter, an Ice Beam shot at the fire dog. Sunshine burned right through the attack and hit the ice type hard. Chu-e tossed a pokeball before it had another chance to attack.

"Ugh." The hail doesn't let up. Normally when you take out the pokemon causing it that shit goes away. Chu-e's about to head inside when it turns out the real culprit shows herself. A sleek and lovely Glaceon, who had been stalking the Amaura and the real reason the other pokemon had been terrified when Chu-e had stumbled upon it. She leaps from the grass looking to get in close. Sunshine retaliates, a Flamethrower, but the attack misses when the other pokemon uses a quick Detect to dodge out of the way.

The Ice type lets out a Blizzard from point blank range on Sunshine's since, his thick fur matting with ice quickly.

But his fire burns hot, thankfully, as that probably would have taken one of Chu-e's other pokemon out. He turns and uses another Flame Wheel, slamming into the smaller pokemon and burning it while also melting some of the ice off of himself. Chu-e takes the chance to fling a ball, hopes it catches.

The ball clicks closed and Chu-e is pleased with himself. That Glaceon had a lot of fire in her for being an ice type. She'll be fun to mold and shape to what he wants.

Finally he moves back into the cavern opening with Sunshine at his side. A Swinub noses along the chamber a ways away before scuttling out of sight. Chu-e shrugs- it's for the better. They were cute and all but what was the point in catching another one? Plus, wasn't he looking for a Jynx or Smoochum for Arthur? He had found a trade app on his new phone but he didn't want to resort to that unless he had too...

Another Glaceon passed by in the shadows and Chu-e paused to watch it. These pokemon were very pretty... He didn't want another one, he could tell the one he had gotten already would be hard enough to get trained up to listen, so he just watched as the ice fox pokemon moved before it was out of sight.

"Think we'll find anything else that's useful?" Chu-e mumbled to Sunshine. The Arcanine just grunted in reply, eyes sharp as he watched for anything that might try and waylay them while they walked.

"Oh, there's the dick ice again." Chu-e pointed to the protrusion, still just as amused as before for whatever reason at the stalagmite. For good measure, he took out his phone and snapped a picture of it to save and laugh at later.

Movement in the corner of Chu-e's eye caused him to pause in putting his phone away. Another ice sandshrew, which was staring maliciously from behind a pillow not too far deeper into the cave. Chu-e started back, unflinching, and the pokemon broke first- it skittered deeper into the cave and away from the Trainer and his pokemon.

Huffing, Chu-e just patted Sunshine and led the way to follow the creature. Indirectly because there was only one way to go, after all, but he followed nonetheless. "I'm not sure there's too much left in here I really care about."

Chu-e and Sunshine hadn't made it too far down the corridor when there was a loud 'ding!' from somewhere above. It seemed the cavern was fitted with some sort of sound system even it was supposed to replicate the wild. Interesting.

That sound meant it was time to go, which was a shame, but Chu-e still had one ball left. Glancing back he figured it wouldn't hurt to fling it before the Warden came to yoke his neck for being in here too long. So he did, and he started to turn, but to his surprise there was the 'click' of a catch in the random direction he had tossed the ball. It had went behind a rock.

"What the fuck?" Was all he said as he went to collect it so he could go back.
