If he was going to have to adjust to the unbearable rising Hoenn's tropical climate, there were worse things he could do than jump in those 'adjustments' head first.

Saunas and steam rooms did the body good by opening up the pores and letting out a good sweat.

So long he stayed hydrated walking these two magmutts once a week just made his trips up and the fiery path that much more intense on the health spectrum.

-and arceus have mercy on any pokemon he sent them after.

It was probably going to be a while before Dahlia actually asked for a return of the Heatran.

That left him plenty of time to train it up properly and get it accustomed to his battle methods.

Before long he would need a name for them both of them.

He rolled around variations for the words 'diamond' and 'pearl' as names; like Zircon and Opal.

Letting the Heatran move ahead he didn't have to go on very far before noticing a Nidorino they left onside of the path.

Giving it a look over it seemed simply fatigued and suffering from heat stroke with slight burns.

With a premier ball he gave the nido a reprieve; with its capture he completed the Nido section of his Living Kanto Pokédex; Nidoran male and female, Nidorino, Nidorina, Nidoqueen and Nidoking.

Calling the heatran back he made a mental note to keep them on a shorter leash for now.

Crimsen attempted to capture Nidorino!
