while to anyone else it might have seemed that he didn't care about his pokemon that simply wasn't true. he cared a lot about them. that's why he was sitting there on the floor with some of the shell cleaner and his golisopod sitting in front of him. carefully he dug out chunks of dirt and mud that had managed to make it's way into the dual types carapace. knowing that if he didn't that eventually it could cause some wear and tear or some pain for bug-juice. then when that was done he would make sure to rub down every part of the exoskeleton with the oil that made it shine and healthy. he might have been an asshole but he really loved his pokemon.

he curled up on the floor, phone in hand as button stared at the screen with him. it was another one of those days. the terrible ones. so it was better for him to just stay in side. away. and with his pokemon. button understood somehow the feelings that glitch had on these days. the ones that made him feel terrible and dead inside all at once. the days that made him feel like too much. it was enough to make him want to vanish. but instead he stayed inside, with button, watching youtube videos on a farfetch'd cutting things in half with it's leek. tomorrow he wouldn't regret this alternative.
