Someone else was here. Rose turned her head, pulling down her sunglasses, as she frowned at a newcomer who was approaching. Her resting bitch face had her stare at the newcomer for a moment, and she opened her mouth to Megan Whitmore almost immediately. "Oh. Hi." she saw the Arcanine nearby.

Her mood changed drastically, from apathy to feeling a pang in her heart. It was a big puppy. Her mind was racing at the thought of petting the Arcanine, to the point that both Amarylis and Crocus neared Rose with knowing grins. Telepathic jerks.

Clearing up her expression, she crossed her arms. "Sorry. I'm a little cranky. Name is Rose Blackwood. This is Crocus-" she moved a hand to show the floating Solosis, swirling in the air "-and Amarylis." she gestured to the Kirlia, a curtsy on the ground. "And you are?"

Not that she had much time to really finish that question. A double moved through the grass. A Sandile and a Trapinch. Both of them bitey in nature, as they moved through the grass, the Trapinch biting up a big hefty big of grass, and chewing. The look of disgust on Rose's face was immaculate. Only for Amarylis to pull on Rose's suit.

"... yeah. You're right." She pulled out a Pokeball, and begrudgingly tossed it at the Trapinch, looking to Megan again. "There's a gator in the grass you might want." she pointed it out to her.

Incentive to allow for pets.

(CATCHING TRAPINCH)

After retrieving the Trapinch's Pokeball, and pocketing it, her gaze reacquainted with Megan and her Arcanine. Arcanine were never her type. In fact, she would always pick Houndoom over an Arcanine. Arcanine were loyal to a fault, and would die for their Trainer. Any Pokemon could do that, it didn't make them special. Persephone would definitely have something to say about it all, and so would her old Houndoom before the arsonist back home took everything from her.

Arcanine weren't special, not to Rose. So admittedly, her squinting at it was to show a sign of superiority to the fire dog.

"Charmed." She looked away with a scoff. Crocus, the little Solosis gave a big smile towards Megan and Arcanine, though Amarylis mirrored her trainer very well. Spiteful. She learned well from her trainer, and considering how poisonous Rose could be, Amarylis took that as inspiration for herself.

Watching Megan attack the Sandile with her Arcanine, she merely crossed her arms and watched. "You train it well." she wasn't paying attention to the canine at all. In fact, her attention was split. There was something else out here. Something much more... vicious. Sitting within the brush, within these bushes. The Sandile and the Trapinch were staying within the tall grass to avoid them, but the lack of other Pokemon immediately around left an impact on her.

She realized why pretty quickly, when she looked into the air to see the three-headed dragon rushing down on them like prey, and Rose quickly jumped back, Amarylis following suit, with Crocus attaching himself to her hip, and sliming her skin-tight suit. With her blue hair draped over her face, she frowned at it. "Good... looks like I was right to camp out here."

Then came the crash behind her, and Rose's head twisted to look. A giant of a thing, a titan ghost that stood before her.

"You take the dragon, Megan." She absolutely was more about dividing and conquering. But in actuality, she intended more for Megan to lose. She didn't hate or abhor Megan, but she wanted them both. Though she knew how unlikely that was.

"Crocus, Amarylis. Return." Both Pokeball out, she returned both her Solosis and her Kirlia, as a Hammer Arm came down next to Rose. With a quick roll out of the way, she tossed out her other Pokemon, and with a confident smirk, came out Lily, fns out, scars shown, the Primarina and the main event had arrived.

"Bubblebeam its face, Lily."

Lily, fins through her glorious mane, threw her nose forward, and began to fire off the bubble beam, as Rose quickly rushed behind the Golurk while it was busy, though another Hammer Arm on Lily had Rose scoff. Lily could take abuse, but this titan believed it had any right to inflict any amount of damage. She called out. "To the bridge, Lily. Fight it on your terms."

Lily took that as it was, as she quickly leapt upwards herself, diving into the water by the bridge, as Rose crossed her arms, gesturing for the Golurk to come at her. And the big titan did, attempting another slam down right at Rose, only to be met by a bubble beam surprise attack throwing it off balance. With her Pokeball at the ready, she smirked.

"Nice try."

She threw it quickly at its chest, only to look forward, and scoff. Irritation visible on her frowning lips.

"Guess I won't get both..."

(CATCHING GOLURK IN STYLE)

When the Pokeball shook on the ground, she snatched it up, watching Lily pop back next to her. Rose quietly brushed her gloved hand on Lily's cheek, seeing another wound from battle. The blue-haired woman affectionately held the Primarina for a moment, two moments longer. The Hydreigon was lost, and Lily needed attention. "It's okay." Lily was crying a little. She was still a baby when it came to getting hurt. "Look at me." She cupped her hands around Lily's cheeks, and held eye contact. "You are strong. You won. Do you hear me?" Lily would nod, tears running down her face, and the level of ugly cry from her snot-ridden nose was, while gross, also precious.

When Rose was finished, it seemed the Hydreigon hit the ground, and then disappeared. As Rose tilted her head, she quietly began to tie up her hair, walking over towards the trainer, her boots quiet upon the dirt.

"Good job." She commented, though it sounded more like an insult than a compliment. Though, there was a small smile from her, as she finished up a ponytail, leaning her body to the left, a hand on her hip. "I may have misjudged you. Figured the Hydreigon may be a bit much, but you took it down easily enough." Admittedly, Rose was hoping Megan WOULD have failed so she could have caught it, but at this point, she didn't care. What was done was done.

"It's nice to meet you, Megan." She didn't extend a hand for a shake, but she would at least acknowledge her.

A rustle in the bush. A Poochyena, and over in the far distance, a Krookodile, quietly climbing down from a cliff, into the grass below. Rose pointed them out. "Go ahead if you're going. Looks like that one has the most power." she pointed to the Krookodile, who looked over with a tilt of its head.
