The Heracross rolled off the Machamp and onto his elbows and knees whilst wheezing, feeling its sides still compressed together after the powerhouse's vice of an bearhug.

This was not helped when his trainer ran into the mat and threw his arms around him in his own hug, squeezing him tightly with a smile as broad as the Machamp's shoulders.

"MEGA, YOU TROOPER, AAAH!" Screamed Doug in his seriously dizzy Heracross' ears as he swung him from side to side, ki-shi-shi-ing the entire time. Turning around, he hauled his wheezing Heracross up to his concussed Ledian, picking up the little guy into a hug as well.

"Look alive, guys! We won!" He shouted out excitedly, to which Ledian rolled over on his hold and puked on the mat.

recalling his machamp, noah hops off his podium with a swing of his arms. he springs off the landing with a happy bounce.

"well fought, man!" noah's hand snakes into his shorts' pocket. his fingers curled around the badge in its corner— but the procuring of the award is delayed by the terrible sound of a pokemon retching. "uh, don't worry about that. we can clean that up easy. just make sure he's okay."

laughing, he moves into the cage and presents the badge to doug. it shines under the powerful stagelights. the dust and drama of their battle hangs in the air, caught in their golden beams.

"a medal to decorate you with, man." noah says.

"Will do." Doug said as he checked his Ledian, who tried to give a thumbs up. Good enough! "Take a rest, Mega, Ultra! You two earned it! We'll getcha the best meals of yer lives later!"

With that promise made, the youth returned both pokemon to their net balls, before turning to face Noah, smiling broadly at the man as he approached with badge in hand.

It gleams in a way that is practically magical to the youth, drawing a massive smile out of him.

"Noah!" He said as he stepped up to hug the smaller man, lifting him in the air! "Thanks for everything, man!"

He owed lot to noah faber. He was so glad to have come to the man's gym when he did!
