Things were quieting down again, and so Alexei found himself down and out here—a favored haunting place.

He didn’t realize that he was still missing some Pokémon from his collection—hell, he thought his own chase was over, but apparently it wasn’t, at least not yet anyway.

After doing a quick headcount, he then realized which ones he was missing, and so he was out here again at Route 119—where a lot of Flying-types tended to gather.

The place was also a gathering spot for Bug-types; which he was apparently lacking—at least according to his calculations. He was also looking for some Grass-types, and he would know which ones those were when he saw them.

At least, he hoped he’d be able to find what he needed.

The first thing he came across was, well—

He gave it a look. Not a withering look, but one enough for him to consider just leaving it alone.

Which was what he was going to do! He knew that there was someone who was collecting Vileplume, but after double-checking on the trading network, they weren’t in the market for the Oddish line currently.

Therefore the Oddish before him got to see the light of another day without being trapped in the confines of a Pokéball.

“Go on now, shoo!” he hissed, turning and heading towards a particularly tall patch of grass. What was waiting for him in there, he wondered?

It didn’t take him to long to hear a slithering noise through the tall grass—

Wait, slithering noise through here?! Were there Seviper around?

Looking around quickly, he pulled out his PokéGear and typed in his current location—okay, there were none of those or Zangoose around here, but then, the same noise echoed through the area.

He wondered what it was, and decided to follow it—

Only to realize he was following a Serperior. Hey, it reminded him of the one he had running—err, slithering along at the Sanctuary back in Fortree.

“Not today,” he said quietly as he left the regal Grass-type alone.

The last thing he encountered—

Well, thankfully he already had one of them, so he didn’t feel too bad about leaving this one alone in the wild.

It’s just that Alexei tries to avoid having duplicates as much as possible—unless they were either Oricorio or part of the Eevee evolution line. There were what, eight of the Eevees and he was still so mad that not a single one of them could fly.

Either way, he watched as the Morelull ran around, looking for something that he could not understand.

“Go on,” he said quietly, as he waved the little nightlight Pokémon (well, that was what he called the bigger version of this one in his head) back into the tall grass. He wasn’t one for disturbing a family of whatever these could do…
