Having been ready for Kaz to aim another kick at her, Captain Dross's eyes go wide when instead the blond corsair/her friend turns around and proceeds to decorate the Sotally Tober's deck with what probably had been his lunch.

The sudden loss of adrenaline leaves her slightly dizzy as she assesses the situation, ultimately deciding to head closer to Kaz and pat him on the back. And also making sure to steer clear of the... unpleasantness seeping into the wood. "Shit, you okay Kaz?" And then. "Shit, Otis is going to hate having to clean that."

Kaz's question has her raising her eyes to the flying whale at the exact moment Nautilus hits the surface of the water with all the subtlety of an atomic bomb. Waves rise up and outward from the point of contact, spreading as far Slateport beach, where a few tournament participants are about to have the surprise of their lives.

"Eh." Captain Dross waves away Kazimir's concern. "It's okay."

The Sotally Tober takes the full brunt of the waves. Ocean water splashes over the deck and the floor undet their feet starts leaning dangerously to one side, dislodging a few barrels and lengths of rope.

Then it thankfully settles. At least, Skyler thinks as she looks around, it seems Otis doesn't need to bother cleaning the deck.

coarse coughing and lurching were the only sounds kazimir could make even as the captain walked over to him to make sure he was alright. he only responded with a thumbs up to show that he was indeed ok, albeit he wasn't going to be eating anytime soon if not at all today. as the boat was rocked from the waves kazimir did his best to stand upright despite all the moving and as he did an idea popped into his head. as he was able to stable himself he jerked a step back as if his balance still hadn't returned one hundred percent to him and that's when he swept his leg under skyler and slowly falling over ontop of her to try and pin her to the ground. "hah! ya let your guard down! submit, or i sink the ship~ if i can't take yer treasure, i'll make sure it sits nicely at the bottom of the sea~"

under the sea's surface as the wailord splashed against the waters a pair of silver beams suddenly came form the depths as the blastoise known as jolly roger swam up to its target with a flash cannon beamign out of its own cannons. hoping to finally take down the giant once and for all.

It was, in fact, not okay.

Captain Dross is still peering over the railing when Kazimir stands up on shaky feet. Attention diverted by the distant screams of beachgoers and other tournament participants who'd been enjoying a much deserved sunbathing (and suffered an unexpected drenching), she's caught unaware by the kick that sends her crashing onto the deck.

The groan that wants to break free from her throat is silenced by the air escaping her lungs in one fell swoop when she hits the wooden planks. The couple of seconds that Skyler takes to take stock of what had happened are enough for Kaz to be able to pin her to the ground, effectively boxing her in.

"Ugh, Kaz, your breath-" Expression pinched in disgust, Skyler tries to get away with little success. Eventually, the reek proves to be too much - even for Captain Dross. "Fine, fine! I give! Just- Let me breathe fresh air."

Released from her nauseating prison, Captain Dross would rise to her feet and slap Kazimir on the back, fierce grin in place. "That was a cheap shot! I'm proud! I'll make a pirate out of ya yet, Kaz." A pause, followed by a challenging quirk of her brows. "Now... how about some drinks?"

Nautilus isn't really okay either. In the end, the Flash Cannon and the poorly thought-out Bounce prove enough to knock him out, casting a shadow over the victorious Blastoise as the Wailord floats along the surface of the ocean - quickly recalled by his trainer for a much needed rest.
