The Mareanie was on cloud nine, apparently.

Lars could only sigh—and the exhalation came out as a stream of bubbles before he fished out the Mareanie’s Pokéball and recalled the cackling sea creature back into its depths.

Surfacing from underwater, he finally peeled off the diver’s mask as he climbed back out and got onto the platform, accepting the other man’s handshake in return.

“She’s more of a jackass, to be fair. It’s a marvel she’s listened to me for more than five minutes,” he said with a chuckle.

“You’ve got an equally impressive Dratini, too. Very tenacious.”
