After getting the Frosmoth, it was back to searching—as always.

There were still quite a few he was missing, however he wasn’t going to stop until he’d gotten them all.

Maybe the Lapras was the only good sign of things that had come and gone…

Shaking his head, he wondered if he was going down a wrong passageway—he hadn’t yet seen the weird, toilet bowl-looking Pokémon. Not even once.

Not even when other people on the trading forums he was on had spread the rumors that the weird fish-looking thing could be found here…

Where was it, anyway?

He wondered if the equine was running around somewhere—or was hiding from him today.

The first thing he’d encounter was a—

It was the younger version of the cannibalistic Abomasnow he had to catch back then! Although this one didn’t look like it had seen things, unlike the one he owned.

To be honest, he was secretly terrified of what would happen should he dare loose Koude upon the world. He knew that he was harboring a cannibalistic Pokémon, and to unleash it in public was… unthinkable.

“Go on, go back to your family now. Shoo!” he said, waving his hand at the Snover before waiting for it to waddle back where it had come from.

It was like… the Ice-types were getting used to his presence wandering around Shoal Cave…

A weird noise alerted him to the presence of another Pokémon, and he looked up from his musing.

However, this wasn’t one he was interested in.

Although it was a native to the region, Lars’s eyebrows went up slightly as the Baltoy drifted lazily by him, completely unassuming and not giving a single shit in the world around it.

“Wow, it’s like you don’t care,” he remarked as he let the Baltoy explore deeper into the darkness of Shoal Cave. There would be more of them, he was sure.

For now, though, he resumed his search. It was at this point he realized he was short another Ice-type, and therefore took a few moments to stop and enter something in his Pokénav as a reminder to add that particular Eeveelution to his list.

Shit, why didn’t I think of that! I clean forgot! He thought, hoping that the snarky ‘judge’ didn’t hear him as he hurriedly updated his list and then went back to searching.

“Really?” was all he could exclaim as the Weavile cackled as it zipped by him. The snarking voice was silent. Wonder why that was.

Either way, he shrugged and looked at his Pokénav once more, making sure to double-check that his list of missing Ice-types was up to date.

Well, at least the Ice-types that weren’t classified as a ‘legendary’ like the deity was.

Shrugging his shoulders, he continued into the darkness, wondering what he would encounter next the longer he kept looking and searching for the missing… he had quite a lot to hunt down, which was a shame really.
