Thinking things through, she'd wondered if it was best to try to talk to it—it seemed very friendly considering it hadn't even attacked them when she'd jumped the gun. She'd turned to Aedan with a positive smile, "yeah, hopefully!"[break][break] She'd slowly walked closer to the Dragonair, inching closer with her hands in clear view, "Sorry about scaring you! I was a bit too excited, see... I'd really love to be friends with yOOOOUUUUU!" Cat had been trying to explain herself calmly—under the assumption the Dragonair understood everything she was saying, or at least her intention and body language, yet the would-be Krookodile Hunter had been a little too laser-focused on the Dragonair, ditsy enough that she'd actually forgotten it was in the water. A spectacular yelp coming out from her as she'd taken a step into the water and lost her balance, her Perrserker diving after her in a panic—though ultimately the dip had been rather shallow.[break][break] The Dragonair—watching all this unfold had laughed, or at least, Cat thinks it had laughed, the drenched girl and her Perrserker staring at each other dumbfounded, back to the Dragonair and back to Aedan. Urged on by the Dragonair's laugh, Catalina had burst out laughing, just what had she been so nervous about in the first place? Followed by her Perrserker cracking a smile, the Dragonair had glided through the water closer to the duo.[break][break] "Oh?" the blue Serpentine pokémon had lent its tail to help push Cat back up to her feet and onto dry land with a gentle smile, "thank you kindly!" she'd said with a smile, "So, uh... I'm super interested in making friends with you, Dragonair! Would you be friends with me? I'd love to go on an adventure with you or something..." she'd confessed, not quite sure what else to do but convey exactly how she felt in the most straighforward manner she could. Another poké ball in hand, she'd kept her eyes closed and held out the ball with both hands.
