‘Okay, I know I said one of each Ice-type, but this—’

‘Is what, ridiculous?’ Lars scoffed as he caught sight of a Delibird that was waddling around the area without absolutely any care at all.

‘Took the words right out of my mouth. But, a promise is a—’

‘I know, no need to nag,’ he replied with a sigh as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Well, at least this was another Ice-type down for the collection—bringing him closer to a complete collection? Well, as complete as possible, anyway…

The Delibird then saw the lone human, but instead of giving it a present it decided to chuck an Ice Ball right at him!

The audacity!

“Wow, okay, I know my friend is trying to collect a harem of your kind but you’re just nuts,” he said as he caught the Ice Ball with his bare hand without even blinking or flinching.

“Just so you know, every single Pokémon that I’ve met has always chosen violence. And I’m not beneath retaliating as necessary…” he added as he concentrated, before summoning up something that resembled the same Ice Ball he was holding before sending both back at the Delibird.

“Try catching those for size.”

The Delibird, for lack of better word, was surprised to see a human chucking the same Ice Ball that he’d thrown! Shocked, the dual-type tried to catch both Ice Balls yet failed, only managing to bat one away out of surprise.

“Two can play this game, you know,” he went on as he crouched down to stare at the Delibird eye-to-eye. “Go on.”

The Delibird tried to chuck another Ice Ball at him, however he’d caught it once again with his bare hand before throwing it back at the surprised Pokémon.

“I could do this all day.”

Reaching into his pocket with his other hand, he then threw an empty Pokéball at the Delibird before a third Ice Ball was chucked at him.
