an attack did hit, but she knew better than to cheer. the Shaymin was a formidable foe indeed for its delicate appearance. luckily, back-up arrived. the Future Sight shot toward the Shaymin from the sky above as if dropping a bomb, the psychic type attack attempting to assault the foe. Siobhan would use the distraction.

"Fire Punch" she calls out to the battle weary Dusknoir. her plan was to sandwich Shaymin between two attacks. if it ignored the Future Sight, it'd be hit by the Fire Punch. if it dodged the Fire Punch, Future Sight always hit. Gravedigger went out for one last hurrah, shooting toward Shaymin with a flaming fist extended.

he was almost done. the attacks were relentless and he deserved a rest, but he kept going.

A CHANCE ENCOUNTER

HER PINCER MANUEVER WORKS SPLENDIDLY. The fact that the FUTURE SIGHT comes from seemingly nowhere catches the Shaymin by surprise. It’s trainer may have anticipated it, an easy deduction considering the attack is announced, but refrains from sharing that information. It’s something that needs to be taught from first hand experience.

A sudden pulse of telekinetic energy rams the Shaymin from above. The show of force knocks it against its trajectory and coincidentally out of the way of the FIRE PUNCH. An unfortunate effect of an attack’s knock back but it ensures at least one attack hits.

Eventually, Fernando’s wristwatch beeps as an alarm goes off. Her fifteen minutes are over. With a pleased smirk, he returns his Pokemon after declaring her the winner. He departs but not before leaving her with a Silph Badge in return.
