Adults can be pretty good liars when they want to be, but not every child will be taken in easily. For Eris, reading people has become second nature, a necessity that arose from great pressures placed upon her shoulders. Even as Cian smiles at her, she can sense that there's a little more to the cheer he brings, simply choosing to ignore it for the sake of reducing paranoia.

The Cranidos he calls upon looks feral, untamed and ready to lash out at anyone that comes close. At first glance, Aster seems a little intimidated by the little dinosaur but he makes his way into the arena regardless, his body crackling with electricity as he does a small stretch.

Since Cian's offering, there's no point holding back. A calm whistle draws the Helioptile's attention, energy brewing around him as he exudes a surge of Thunder towards Cranidos.

The Cranidos hangs on even through the strong surge of electricity. Not too bad for a pokemon that isn't quite working with their trainer. When she tosses herself into danger, Aster is ready to take the hit, wincing slightly as he stomps his feet, Bulldozing his way back into the fight.

Head strong and unwilling to use her head in any way besides ramming, the Cranidos seems to have driven herself into a corner. Even without Eris' guidance, Aster is already moving to counter, reinvigorated by the Parabolic Charge and pushing himself to his full height on his hind feet.

Once again, he slams his feet against the ground, lowering his head and Bulldozing his way straight into the Cranidos.
