“Uh-oh,” he remarked as the whirlpool got even bigger—

Underwater, the Swampert noticed that the vortex of water was getting larger—and due to the disorienting way the water was swirling around, the next Rock that the Swampert Threw instead flew out of the water, striking the side of the tank and cracking the glass…

“Oh boy,” Alexei added a few moments later.


Swampert gets hit by the Water Pulse, before using Rock Throw and accidentally throws it OUT of the arena where it strikes one side of the tank where the glass starts to crack!

endeavor completed: battle underwater for the entirety of a h✩t battle.

The Gorebyss did not listen one bit. Spurred on by her opponent's weakness, she started to intensify the Whirlpool, making it swirl around them even faster. It began picking up even more rocks and debris, each of them smacking against the glass of the tank and leaving more and more hairline cracks. Cardamom made her way down the ladder and started to scamper away from the tank, running for where the rest of her Pokeballs were being kept.

The more the Swampert struggled, the more wild and random his movements became—and for some reason his opponent bailed.

The moment the cracks grew larger, though, Alexei knew he had to get out as well!

“Crap! Shuyin, stop whatever you’re doing, you—!” he shouted as he grabbed his crutch and made a run for it as well (with some difficulty) as the Swampert thrashed around wildly and continued to Throw more Rocks around, and the spider web of cracking glass grew larger—the vortex of water then spilled over the rim of the tank—

And in a grand show of utter insanity, the Swampert collided with the cracking glass wall and lost consciousness—

…which also caused the tank to burst open!


Swampert is going bananas. Swampert crashes into the side of the tank and the tank literally bursts open!

endeavor completed: destroy a part of the environment/stage!

The Gorebyss was clearly straining, but luckily Cardamom could hear the sound of security arriving, and already several Psychic-types were teleporting in to handle it, finally allowing the Gorebyss to release her own barriers. She floated, exhausted, before Cardamom recalled her and turned to Alexei.[break][break]
"Wow...what a match, huh?" she said, after a long pause.
