Pfft. Of course he complained. Naturally, all she did was point at her Rattata, which by then had tackled one of the boys to the ground. “I prefer to let my Pokemon do the rushing,” she simply replied. After all, she wasn’t exactly going to get into a fistfight with these boys. Heck, she would probably lose that. Of that, she had little illusion.

Hence, she pouted slightly, but caught up at her own speed anyway. “Ugh, whatever with thist storm. But I wouldn’t be so sure. People tend to run when you surprise and chase them. And they are young boys who probably believe that most of what they do is some sort of grave crime, even when they are just looking at porn.” Plus, this all seemed kind of silly to her. Really, they were hunting boys at the behest of dogs?
That really was not the Rocket way. Like, at all.

Reporting to the proper authorities? Arms crossed, she arched a brow at that. Had she just gotten this wrong? She could have sworn that Rocket had sent her to do this. But neither the mission, nor the dork she was working with seemed Rocket. And it was probably a bad idea to ask, so she sighed briefly.

This one…was probably on her. “I mean, you can report that. But at worst they will get scolded or something. I doubt this is anything like murder or whatever, anything that would get them into substantial trouble with the authorities.” She sighed. At best, there was some petty theft, she figured. Those boys certainly did not seem like hardened criminals or anything like that.

But still, Inspector Javert over there was probably not going to be satisfied until he had answers. Vio sighed, deeply. “Look, boys, he actually can’t do much to you. Just tell him what is up and he it will probably be alright for you, too. Not like there will be any evidence against you anyway.” Or, at least, she might goad them into revealing something that way.

So, their grand crime was….capitalism. After all, could not really fault them for theft or anything. Not when the presumed owner of these crates seemingly left them out in the open enough for both kids and dogs to just wander in. That did not exactly strike her as responsible behaviour, at least. And she certainly was not going to fault the kids for wanting to make a buck. That was what the mighty Sylph was indoctrinating them to do, after all. Especially if that rich guy she’d been dating a bit was to be believed.

“AS I told you, not exactly criminal masterminds.” Nor boys very committed to their agenda, it seemed. Then again, being assaulted by strong Pokemon like theirs probably was a bit much. Especially when one did not stand to gain a whole lot from this endeavour in general to begin with. Violet sighed, then turned back towards the dogs, her Rattata faithfully following along. “This still feels a bit overblown to me. But I guess it does make sense. At least I am getting paid for this whole nonsense either way.”

“I guess,” she replied with a light shrug. He was kind of right, but also wrong. The way he went after them, honestly, anyone would have run from that in her opinion. It was always odd that people argued ‘if you did not do it, why did you run’, but when a doorky beef like him just suddenly rushed after her while she was doing anything private, it would be fight or flight for her, too.

Though she’d probably hurt this particular guy way more than he would be ready to hurt her. That thought made her smirk at him. “Hmm? Oh, right, the dogs.” I guess we can try. Though I guess if they have owners, we can easily check that by throwing a ball or so, right? Doesn’t feel right to just capture a helpful wild mon, but if they are caught already, they will just bounce off, right?”

She did the same, naturally, with similar results. Though, instead of throwing, she more or less booped the Yampers’ nose with the trigger of her ball. Still, it did not work. “Well, seems like they belong to someone. Awful trainers that apparently managed to lose sight of their pokemon like this.” Which was also a good reason to move these ‘mons to Rocket. But she was not going to try that then and there. Not like she wanted to fight this guy over freaking Yampers, after all.

“But, well, that also means they should know their way back home, right? At the very least from the town proper.”

She pouted. The dork was dense, too. “I said we take them back to town and leave it up to them, then. Don’t make me sound like a heartless person.” Yes, she did not swear, even in hyperbole she put into other’s mouths. That was not very ladylike, after all. And yes, she was still putting on the act, even after joining Rocket.

After all, just because she worked there did not mean she would have to give up on ‘Violet’. But for now, she crossed her arms and started walking. “So, are you coming or not? It is a bit of a walk to town and I would like to see this sorted soon.”
