avery's woeful expression was one zenji wish he didn't have to see. he felt as if he'd let her down. unable to find the key to curing what was too far gone.

"all you can do is stay beside them and tend to them as you would any other." her motherly talent when it came to taking care of and nursing pokemon would prove fruitful. "for now i'd start with gabite and just make your way around. some of them are too weak to eat, some unresponsive." there was only so much the head scientist could do. if only eva had some cure-all ability to fix this. but she was a scientist, not a miracle worker.

"i'll be back shortly."

he would leave her alone briefly. unbeknownst to zenji or avery. there was a small creature, though invisible, hovering about. watching with curiosity. the object of their focus? avery jones .

MEW, camouflaged, watches avery jones carefully. wondering as to WHAT SHE WILL DO WITH THE SICKLY GABITE. it ponders from above as to whether the assistant will use her GIFT or not.

in another room. zenji monitored the current status of pokemon within evergrande hospital's care. the screen showcased a sudden shfit in their vital. where some results, physically, remained the same. their mental brainwaves showcased another.

in one way to summarize the sudden shift. zenji would describe their immediate change as, "calm. the pokemon..." he'd remain within the monitor room. continuing to watch what else would occur, "is there some sort of malfunction happening?" he thought aloud. "no...' there was more to it. for each of the pokemon to no longer show the mental stress the data once revealed them to be under had long since disappeared right after leaving avery jones alone with them.

"what's going on...?" zenji pondered.

he would stop those in the room with him from leaving. wanting avery jones to remain where she was, as well as those who were in the room with her. "let's just continue to keep watch..." zenji instructed, "for now."

MEW, remaining camouflaged, sprightly danced midair. enjoying the young maiden's SWEET SCENT. the pokemon, now no longer dancing, wondered as to why she allowed the pokemon to remain in such a state? were they not suffering? was this some sort of game? it curiously wondered.

or, rather, knew there was something subconsciously hindering the maiden from unlocking her full potential. so it would take the liberty of leaving the room quietly. once out of human sight. the pokemon would TRANSFORM into zenji jabami.

mew, or should i say "zenji", returned to the room. though "he" was silent. a simple hand would come to be placed upon avery jones's shoulder. a smile, which was very rare, followed. "zenji" would nod, indicating that avery jones, with a gesture, should continue doing what she's doing. while "zenji's" hand touched her shoulder. the mythos pokemon would SYNCHRONISE psychically with avery jones from its touch.

in her head she would hear zenji's voice, saying, "you got this, avery!" both jovially and encouragingly. of course, it was the transformed mew encouraging avery whilst replicating zenji's voice. "just take a deep breath and concentrate. only you can dispel this mild ailment. you just have to believe in yourself as the avatar of shaymin."
