EXPOSITION
THE HOT SPRINGS IN LAVARIDGE TOWN have expanded their services this summer, including massages, heated stone rooms, and sauna-related foods like hard boiled eggs! There is a saying that goes, "fight summer heat with more heat!" in Hoenn and Johto— and so, foreigners to those regions may find the summer popularity of the springs bewildering.
OOC RULES AND INFO HOW TO PLAY
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES carefully! If anything is confusing, please tag shiv in the #sauna-stamina discord channel, or through the forum's private messages function.[break][break]
Furthermore, please be aware, rewards and rules are subject to change.[break][break]
- I. find AT LEAST ONE OTHER CHARACTER to roleplay with. there should be a MAXIMUM OF FOUR CHARACTERS in each thread.
- II. create a new thread in the new hot springs board with the TAG, (SAUNA).
- III. roleplay your characters in a sauna, the hot spring, or in a heated stone room. there is no STRICT POST ORDER; however, everyone should POST ONCE PER "ROUND".[break][break]
a round is when every participating character posts. for example, in a thread with adrian, cardamom, and keenan, a round would conclude when all three have posted. - IV. every participating character will start with 1000 HEAT POINTS.
- VI. with every post, ensure that each character ROLLS. the value that is rolled will be DEDUCTED FROM THE 1000 HEAT POINTS. please KEEP TRACK OF YOUR HEAT POINTS in your posts.
- VII. if a character's heat points REACH 0 HEAT POINTS, then the character will be "eliminated"/be unable to handle the heat.
- VIII. the character does not need to leave the thread physically and can continue roleplaying; however, they should not roll.
[break] [li] IX. the last character with HEAT POINTS will "win" and receive 100 PD, 1X PREMIUM GACHAPON TICKET, & 1X SPARKLING DUST. all other characters will receive 25 PD. [/li][break] [li] IX. once the winner has been decided, you may decide to turn in the thread into MODERATOR REQUESTS. you may continue to roleplay within the same thread has ended, but there will be no more additional rewards awarded.[/li][break] [li] X. you can participate with as many characters as you want and multiple times! however, these threads will only count as SOCIAL THREADS for THE CURRY SYSTEM.[/li][break] [/ul][/blockquote] BONUS MODIFIERS SAUNA STRATEGY
ONCE PER THREAD, characters can decide to "INCREASE STEAM". Should your character decide to "INCREASE STEAM", it will force every single character (including themselves) to ROLL TWO TIMES in the round.[break][break]
Use this technique wisely! You may find yourself increasing your character's lead— or sabotaging yourself in the end.[break][break]
In the event that everyone is knocked out at the same time, the character who is closest to the value of 0 HEAT POINTS will be the winner.
