"Well, we'll give it our best shot." Aurelia nods wisely, as if it's a logical problem they must solve. "But who knows, maybe it won't happen? Let's just see where everything takes us." She smiles at him and presses her hands to his chest as he pulls her near.

"Either way, there's no way I'm doing it in this water. Who knows how many other people have." She snorts a laugh and kisses his cheek. "It's just fun to tease you."

Lukas grunted, a low noise that sounded almost like a chuckle. "Yes. We always give it our best shot, right?" They were fighters, after all.

Ah, there she went. He dropped his head to rest it against her unaffected shoulder, laughing softly. "I would not ask that of you, my love. I would only want the best for my queen."

"You make me happy, Luke." She strokes her fingers through his hair, sighing softly. "Life with you, is simply wonderful."

Pulling back a bit, she slides her hands down his arms and smiles brightly. "We should focus on us this weekend. Just you and I. No work, no animals, nothing. Just us." She squeezes his forearms before slipping back so she can sit in the water. "And whatever comes of you and I? Well, that's that." She smirks.

Lukas hummed happily against her neck, pressing a gentle kiss against the side of it. "You make me the happiest man in the world, my love. I don't know where I'd be without you," he murmured, pressing another kiss against her jaw.

He leaned back, looking at her as she spoke. "Hmm... you may have to take my phone from me. I was checking in on the ranch before I got in," he admitted, unable to help the laugh that escaped his lips. "But, I'll do anything for you."

Aurelia gasps and shoves some water in Lukas' direction, pouting. "Lukas! You promised you wouldn't. I'm going to have to confiscate your phone." She sticks her tongue out at him and pouts a little bit.

But then, she relents, because it's her farm too. "How was everything, then? In good hands?"

"I'm sorry! I just got an update, and so I just... had to see how things were rolling." Lukas was particular about how things went. Aura knew that. He held his hands up in defense when she sent water his way. "I promise, I'll stay away from work from now on."

Well... especially if they were going to try to have a baby. Gods.

"It was fine. I wanted to make sure that they weren't messing up the order." Lukas leaned back, relaxing against the edge of the pool.

She splashes him some more and then settles back onto her rock, grinning.

"Fine, fine. I was a little curious, too. But the ranch hand seems to be doing a great job, even before we left..." She murmurs, sighing softly. "Plus, his little boy is so sweet." She touches her hand to her chest. "He toddled over to me to give me flowers the other day, it was adorable."

And made her want children all the more.

"Maybe him and our little one can play~"

"You're right. I just don't like giving control of the ranch to someone else..." It was known that the ranch was basically Lukas's pride and joy. It had been passed down to him from his grandparents, and he was desperate to keep it in good condition. No, perfect condition.

"Did he?" He smiled, looking at her excitement and joy of the thought of a child.

It made him want to give her one even more.

"Hopefully they will get along," he said, swimming closer to her to sit beside her.

Aurelia smiles and moves a bit so that he can fit on the rock she's sitting on, leaning against his shoulder gently. She loves how he always oicks the side that doesn't hurt - remembering that little detail means the world to her.

"How'd the delivery go? Did they get the proper amount of stock?" She asks curiously, licking her lips. They needed quite a bit of hay to supply them through the winter.

"It looked like everything checked out. So we shouldn't have anything to worry about when we get back," he said, hopeful that the situation would stay that way. He had made the order himself before they left, so unless the transporters messed up, it should be fine.

Lukas side, closing his eye. "Aura. What would you want to name our baby?" he asked randomly, trying to picture a small family. A toddler running through their field. Playing with his Miltank.

"Ah, maybe that's far fetched... sorry."

"Lily, if it’s a girl." Aurelia answers almost immediately, putting her finger to his lips as he tries to backtrack. Names mean he’s serious about it, and that’s exactly what she wants. "Matthew if it’s a boy."

She’s has those names picked since as long as they’ve been married.

Lukas gave her a surprised look when she put her finger to his mouth, quickly shutting him up. What was that all about? He wasn't quite sure, but he let her go on because he was curious.

And it seemed like she had it all planned out. Thank the gods because she had to know by now that Lukas was terrible at picking out names.

"I really like both of those. Do they mean anything to you? Or did you just like them?" he asked, leaning closer. He wanted to see how excited she got, to see the joy in her face talking about this sort of thing again.

Aurelia shakes her head. "No, not really. I've just always liked those names. I think they're cute... It would have come up sooner if you had tried to name one of our animals those names, though."

She smirks at him and laces their fingers together, playing with his hand. "But now you know. You can pick middle names, though." She grins more. "Since my choices will clearly be the winners." Her confidence knew no bounds.
