So feisty. Who knew that Alexei could bite back? It made Matt chuckle, unable to hide how pleased he was with how this was going.

Since he was sitting, his cane leaning to the side, Matt took the opportunity to make his move. Alex was taller than him, but he was also injured.

He sat on his thighs, thanking whatever entities above they were still in the robes that they had been in before, before scooting onto his lap, straddling him. He took his cheeks in his hands, tilting his chin a little higher since he had the high ground now.

"You want to know what I'd do about it, if you liked kissing me?" Mattis said quietly, keeping his face just far enough away from Alexei's that they wouldn't touch. "I'd kiss you now. Nice, slow. Make sure I can savor every second of it because who knew Alexei Ivanov could kiss like that?" he teased, his thumb brushing against Alexei's lower lip.

Mattis allowed himself to give Alexei a pout, shifting a bit so his legs didn't go numb. Part of the robe slipped from his shoulder. That's fine. He was getting hot, anyway.

Without anymore teasing, hesitation, anything holding him back, Matt leaned in and kissed Alexei for the second time that trip. This time, it was on purpose, not a spur of the moment kiss like Alex's first one had been.

Who knew that when Alexei invited him to the hot springs, he'd end up making out with his best friend instead of just relaxing? Guess that wasn't a Unovan thing after all.

Matt tilted his head back, his hands clasped behind Alexei's neck as he closed his eyes for a moment. Just to try to catch his breath in the room. Was he getting lightheaded? He couldn't tell. Maybe it was Alex's fault.

"Oh my god. Shut up." He moved one of his hands to cover the other's mouth, shaking his head. "You talk too much, Alex." Of course, Matt was out of it from the high of kissing and sweating out all the water he'd consumed.

He shook off his robe from his shoulders, so it rested on just around his hips instead. "Are you going to keep kissing me or keep talking?"

He opened his mouth to speak, but he was silenced with another searing kiss. Matt groaned into this one, leaning forward with his torso pushing Alexei's back against the seat. Anything to get closer at this point.

"What, you want this or something?" he asked against his lips, opening his eyes for a moment to catch his reaction.
