His hand is so gentle, and her heart pounds harder as he leans in to kiss her. She can’t help but smile against his lips as she’s kisses him back, standing a bit taller so he doesn’t have to bend as much.

Their first, but not their last; when they pull away to breathe, she peppers smaller, softer kisses on his lips. Promises of many more to come.

he can't help but smile as well as he feels his heart pounding in his chest. when was the last time he felt this way? he can't even remember anymore.

the smaller, softer kisses are just as appreciated. he cherishes each one, breaking into a soft chuckle when they finally pull away.

She sighs wistfully. "Truly to everyone who is attracted to men, you are a catch." She grins more, then stands up a bit straighter. "Oh yes, I believe I was promised dessert?"

he chuckles, accepting her compliments with another gentle kiss, this time on her forehead.

"you're sweet."

oh right, dessert. he nods, then tilts her chin up to meet her lips, kissing her, and even when he pulls away, he stays close, voice never breaking beyond a whisper.

"i'll be right back."

as much as he doesn't want to leave her arms, he steps away.
